just checked it..
man i love spring poles and think they are so cool to watch them.. But my personal pit when he was 2-3 tore his meniscus in his knee dropping off one wrong. every day he limps from it but still swims all day every day. I know that bull dogs were bred originally for hanging off cattle, and this is just a simulation for exercise.
But it doesnt take into account that back then those dogs were tools and not necessarily pets first. today they are pets first .. (mostly).

Vera's dog dying is a sad event
But, it is common for dogs to die coming out of anesthesia. The vet anesthesia procedure is far less safe and sophisticated. Also, the cause of the vet visit was likely Veras fault to begin with. If he weren’t obsessed with fighting dogs and fighting dog training, they would not be hanging on a rope(loosens their molars over time and they always get infected)or getting neutered(probably because he had become overly aggressive, from all the “training”, which is essentially teaching to become more aggressive).
I don’t think it necessarily makes them more aggressive. I do agree that the type of exercise contributes to their teeth getting messed up but you also can get that from most excessive chewing on toys/bones. I think it is much worse not to let your dogs exercise and burn energy, being cooped up too long can lead to unpredictable behavior. Most vets also push getting fixed though not because of aggressiveness or being too excited. They usually point to prostate problems for males and fatty tumors in females if they are not actively breeding.
Well, I have a neighbor that is a retired vet dentist
And he told me that natural chewing of anything is fine for most larger breeds. Because it is downward pressure that is controlled by only their jaw muscle. But what causes the damage he has seen is from the clamping down, and tugging. Which cause an outward pressure to the roots and cause them to shift, leaving gaps in the gums which food debris gets into, and causes abscesses.
