UFC 114 Preview: Amir Sadollah - "I Have To Do Well"
"I’m excited for this fight. [Dong Hyun Kim] He’s a tough guy. He’s definitely one of the upper echelon guys, and I think that’s a good sign," Sadollah told MMAWeekly.com. "I mean if they give me tough guys than I guess they have some faith in me, so I’m kind of looking forward to seeing if I can prove them right."-- Check out the full interview at mmaweekly.com.
"I have fought guys that have Judo backgrounds, but he’s probably the best Judo player I’ve fought to date," admitted Sadollah.

He was very nice when we met him at the autograph session before UFC98 so ya, it’s sad he is going to get smashed.

lets go Amir
Meow? Meow?? Meow! ohhhhhh.... Meow =)
This should be a really fun fight to watch. I think Amir can do some serious damage standing, and probably survive on the ground, but I think Kim may just control him and beat him up enough to get a decision. Amir can handle himself on his back against wrestlers with lousy defense, but it’s hard to picture him catching the Stun Gun in something.

Stun Gun by decision
Will be a great fight.
"It's fourth and fifteen and you're looking at a full-court press." - Lt. Frank Drebin, Police Squad
funny
Amir is making the same point I did the other day. That’s a good sign though, Amir isn’t going to be cocky enough to be like shonie carter was when he fought parysian. With the right game plan Amir can take it.
I’m a fan of both, but I want stun gun to handle his.
I think Sadollah has a good chance of beating Kim up on the feet and tiring him out to possible nab a decision. But yeah, it’s a very dangerous fight for him.
Not that I condone facism or any ism for that matter. Isms are in my opinion, not good. A person shouldn't believe in an ism, he should believe in himself.
I quote John Lennon, "I don't believe in Beatles, I just believe in me". Good point there, after all he was the walrus. I could be the walrus. Wouldn't change the fact I have to bum rides off of people.
I know, not sure for how much longer. Better jump on it now if you’re thinking about it.
I got Stun Gun by standing RNC.

Unless Kim has really worked on his striking, Amir could easily pick him apart from range for three rounds. Amir will have to avoid going for the Thai clinch, given that Kim could break into an over/under clinch and send him for a ride. All said, I think this fight is Amir’s to lose.
"I see him beating Anderson Silva. I see him picking him apart. Him at a 131 years old...(trails off)." - Tito Ortiz on Vitor Belfort at Affliction:DOR
how so?
Amir’s only edge is striking technique. Stun Gun is Bigger, Stronger, has a plethora of takedowns from the clinch (side note, you don’t need an over under to throw, any clinching has throw options) not to mention experience.
I’m pretty sure it has long been established that takedowns>striking.
I’m a fan of both, but this is Kim’s to lose.
