Fedor vs Werdum
I’m not excited about this fight ! I think Fedor is trying to keep the title of best heavyweight in the world. Until Fedor fights Overeem or leap to the UFC I’m not buying it. Fight the best or shut up already.

FYI, lack of enthusiasm is typically not denoted with an exclamation point.
And I think you’re the very first person to come up with that meme.

Shut up already?
It’s not like Fedor runs his mouth talking about how he’s the best hw in the world. He’s the opposite of loquacious.
And if he beat Overeem, people would just say Overeem sucks and that Fedor has to come to the UFC to prove himself. Really, the hater talk will never end until he wins the UFC strap.
How about you chill for a few months? Once Fedor beats Werdum, the world will call for the Overeem fight. Then he will either fight him, or he can be officially written off as someone relevant because he will only have scrubs to fight while Lesnar, Carwin, JDS, and Cain are all fighting top fighters.
If you think about it, Overeem needs the Fedor fight too. There are no other Heavyweights that would really push Overeem’s status as a top Heavyweight in Strikeforce or Dream after Fedor. Overeem needs Fedor to boost his ranking while he still has fights with Strikeforce.
Moot points really. I see Fedor kicking Werdum’s ass, then taking the Overeem fight. Then we can cry for the winner to come to the UFC because everyone else sucks.

Interesting how fedor never blocks punches...
He just uses head movement to avoid them. Amazing that he has the lowest Strikes Absorbed per Minute even without blocking.
wow, isn’t blocking punches that way kind of dangerous? It seems to me that one could easily break/dislocate some fingers.
Remember the fight between Paulo Thaigo vs. Mike Swick?
Paulo swayed so many punches successfully without simply covering up with his arms up which still absorbs power.
I do agree it is dangerous but it looks like Fedor kept his eyes on the hands of Arlovoski.
Fedor has very good kicks as he shown in Cro Cop fight [low, mid, and HIGH] and Fujita fight at the end of the fight [liver kick]
You have to beat the legend, in order to become the LEGEND

I really don’t think blocking punches with mma gloves prevents enough damage to warrant their constant use.
it’s gotten Fedor this far against guys like CroCop and Nog when they were at their peak.
