These chicks are the biggest dorks I've ever seen...

But they’d both probably kick my ass lol. I really wonder what a fight would look like between one of these 130lbs ladies and your average untrained 170lbs guy. I can’t see their technique being enough to compensate for the weight and upper body strength, but I bet they probably train against guys, rather than women, so I dunno.

It’s nice seeing friends go at it in the cage. Really makes the Lyotos and Andersons of the world look like big pussies, when a couple of ladies can put their friendship aside. I honestly don’t see what the big deal is anyway…it’s not like it’s a death match.

To be fair...

women in MMA have to both be friends to take care of each other professionally as well as be willing to fight their friends or there wouldn’t be anyone they could fight.

Men, on the other hand, don’t have either of those dynamics in play, usually.

After Rashad/Rampage, Tito/Ken, Chuck/Tito, BJ/GSP, Daley/Kos, Silva/Sonnen and every other hate-filled feud, it’s genuinely refreshing to see two fighters act like this toward one another both before and after trying to beat each other up. I heard they even had dinner together the night before the fight… Perhaps, for them, it isn’t personal, just business.

I am a big fan of Modafferi, and it is nice to see these two friends with each other after their fight. The top pool of female fighters is pretty small, so I can imagine that many of these female fighters know each other, have encountered or befriended each other.
