Steve Cantwell (7-3, 1-2 UFC) was cleared this week by the Nevada State Athletic Commission, and has been granted a new license to fight, according to MMA Junkie. A still-undisclosed condition forced Cantwell off the UFC 108 card at the last minute in December, and led UFC president Dana White to comment that Cantwell "might never fight again."
Cantwell's camp has informed the UFC of the good news, but they have not yet been given word of any future fight bookings.
