Sucks for the fans, as that could have been a fun fight, but way more importantly my heart goes out to Sakara. I have no idea what his relationship to his father was like, but regardless, I simply cannot imagine how hard something like that is to deal with.

Condolences to the Sakara family.
I didnt like this matchup. I dont think Alessio is ready for that big of jump in competition.
If Russia attacked Turkey from the rear, Do you think Greece would help?
And his career has been turning around in the UFC
My condolences as well. I"m sure after his period of grievance is over, he’ll be inspired to continue his exciting rise in the middle weight divison.

My prayers go out to him. It’s horrible losing a family member

You're doing one of two things
Trolling or being very inconsiderate. Both are no bueno.
Walking the line between intelligence and ignorance since 1985

I'm wondering,
who rec’d every comment?

He's making a complimentary comment about Sakara's beard.
Holy crap, he’s not fighter bashing.

People are pretty sensitive around here, especially since the Tito scandal.
The comment was out of place, but it’s not fighter bashing
thats pretty harsh. he is 6-4-1 in the ufc, dont really see how he is an automatic win. his last loss was in ’08
wow
I am impressed than. Last time I saw him was probably 2008. He couldn’t win a fight and left his chin open constantly.
win or lose
he’s usually fun to watch, so my prayers go out to him and his family…
all you gotta do is...
I'm sorry for the loss of his fighter, but i'm really glad this fight is not happening.
I really want to see Marquart vs Okami. I think that would be a battle.
Losing a family member is excruciating.
Okami would be the best replacement. Both have only lost to Sonnen in recent times and any other UFC MW right now would be a mismatch favoring Marqardt. Only other decent replacement on the horizon could be the winner of Cote / Belcher
