anyone see “Fighting Politics”….where they delicately called Lindland’s style technical….and skipped over calling it boring as *&%$?
he did good in the era where guys tended to be high level in one era and up came a crop of guys decent at a few things, but not great in one…..anyone watch Lindland’s fights? I did and wished I hadn’t.

I just don’t get the lack of respect for Lindland. He used to be one of the Top 5 185ers and still is very talented, may not be the best aesthetically but still can beat a lot of good competition.

Yeah I gotta agree, before the Belfort loss you’d hear his name mentioned with all the other relevant 185ers.
We’ve gotta learn to respect the guys who’ve already given their best years to building this sport into what it is today and not hang them out to dry just because they no longer represent the state of the art.
