nah dog

Hoelzer Reich may have sponsored him, and he may have been wrong to have defended him, but he’s one of those guys that is super strapped for cash, and despite his top flight skills he hasn’t been promoted enough to get the top dollar sponsorships, so when HR got lambasted, that was less $ in his pocket.

Regrettable but understandable.

This whole time I actually thought he was Jewish… you know, because of the last name.

Shaolin took the last two rounds and should have been awarded the victory. I don’t know what fight the judges were watching.

Ribbit.

Um, I hope we’re getting better camera angles tomorrow from the official website

Nice to see strikeforce listening to it’s audience. After the show I’m sure that’s all they were asked about. After all it’s the hardcores that watch strikeforce and they wanted to see this fight.

Strikeforce has worked with getting fights on Yahoo and Huly in the past. They are still ramping up after the EliteXC and Affliction acquisitions and settling into the Showtime/CBS deals. If they can get a key prelim fight or two online before a broadcast, it might even offer a small boost to the overall numbers.

Do you think a free fight online that people have to search for will

increase the number of viewers watching the television?

I don’t think anyone would search for the prelim aside from those who are already gonna watch the card.

I can see why it wasn’t aired. The ref needed to break them sooner. They spent the whole time against the cage. Boring…

That’s the first round. The rest of the fight is much more active, and the referee did a decent job of breaking them up when it got too staid.

Ribbit.

I had the first round 10-10, and the final two rounds 10-9 for Shaolin. I thought I just had a bad angle in the arena until I saw Jordan Breen’s tweet.

For those asking, I had it 30-28 Shaolin. Two judges giving Beerbohm all three rounds is irresponsible, reprehensible, and downright shit.

10-9 Beerbohm
10-9 Ribeiro
10-9 Ribiero

29-28 Ribiero

I had:

R1: 10-10
R2: Shaolin
R3: Beerbohm

Draw for me.

Judging is so stupid IMO, you hardly ever see 10-10 or 10-8 rounds. And you have boxing judges judging MMA… seriously wtf? It’s like having a Rugby referee refereeing American Football. The sports have some similarities but they’re completely different to judge.
