Great fight, but a little surprised Zaromskis isn’t defending his title in Japan.

I am surprised Dream signed off on this...
Before making him defend his belt. What good is a champion who could be coming off back to back loses. Cyborg isn’t a stellar fighter, but the size difference will be Minowaman esque…
Cyborg is half dead when he makes 185.How in the hell is he going to make 170?

Go on, git!
Joke wasn’t that bad. This is ridiculous, though. The guy is huge. His wife barely makes 170.
This fight will never go through....
Lashley’s ducked TBA every time now. He’ll either fight for the title or Greg Nagy.
why would he fight for Greg Nagy?

The size difference between those two guys is going to be staggering.
Zaomskis is one of the smallest welterweights in the sport and Cyborg is a pretty good sized middleweight.
Cyborg is a decent sized light heavyweight.

Anyone know how big Z is come fight time? When he fought Diaz I thought for sure he could make LW and perhaps easily. Z with those headkicks could be very dangerous at LW considering now that I think of it there are hardly any guys with serious headkicks in LW at least top competition right?

So is Riggs, Heiron, Woodley, or any other decent WW not available for Zaromskis? And he was rumored for Dream 14…is that now off?

For Those Wondering:
1) Cyborg said he was going down to WW late last year.
2) For those still confused, Strikeforce is having TWO events in June:
Strikeforce 6/16 Los Angeles:
Babalu vs Lawler
Evangelista Cyborg vs Zaromskis
Del Rosario vs Sparks
Lashley vs TBA
Noons vs TBA
Heun vs Clifford (Prelims)
Strikeforce 6/26 San Jose:
Fedor vs Werdum
Cung Le vs Scott Smith 2
Cris Cyborg vs TBA
Rockhold vs TBA
Rumored: Amoussou, Kennedy
Cyborg making WW because
1) He had a tapeworm
2) Sudden on-set diabetes

I heard the same thing. His gym is in North Hollywood, hes got a recognizable name and needs the opportunity and the money. Seems like a no-brainer for Strikeforce if they can get his commission issues cleared up.
How did I end up on this bandwagon and why does everything say property of Chael Sonnen?

i think he should forfeit his title like the dude that got his arm broke by Aoki I think if you get your ass beat you can’t really be the champ anymore. Gotta love the japanese honor system
WTF this event is shaping up to be a whole bunch of big guy vs. little guy matches.
I’m gonna be there, hope it’s good.
KJ Noons is worth following because he holds the Pride LW linear title.

His fight against Dida wasn’t exactly what I’d call “violent”,but it was a nice display of MMA boxing.I get pumped whenever I see someone in MMA actually throw a decent jab,and keep it in a man’s face all night.
