I’m really interested in some of the results on this card. I was always a Fioravanti fan and J.T. vs Leites should be a pretty good indicator of whether or not Taylor will be able to get back into the UFC.

I got all those with the exception of HDnet. Its a good deal, so the change doesn’t seem justified.

leites deserves to be in the UFC

i know his fight against silva was a disaster, but he really shouldnt have been cut to begin with and the UFC mw divison is such a mess that they could really use all the talented fighters they can get

I am against “cutting” former title challengers. I think it REALLY devalues the title. That said, Leites fight with Sakara was a hot mess.

If the Sakara fight was a hot mess, what were Leites fights Nate the Great and AS? Anyone who wasn’t an easy mark on the ground somehow turned into a slop slop fest… I do realize the Marquardt fight wan’t all on Leites, but still…

Does MFC pay their fighters really well? To me it seems like some of these guys are the type of depth fighters that SF should be adding to their roster.

They pay decently, and unlike a lot of promotions, they pretty much never cancel shows, frequently have good crowds, and (even if the promoters themselves are a little… questionable) the organization is generally solid.

So, MFC is apparently what a lot of people want WEC to become, the promotion for guys who couldn’t cut it in the UFC.

The thing that I like about MFC is that they really makes the best out of what is out there as far as fighters are concerned. They get A LOT of former UFC fighters, but they put them in interesting fights. They also have their own “homegrown” fighters as well.

And the MFC is watched by no one and the fights are often terrible. More reason why the WEC as an official minor league for guys who aren’t good enough will never work.

I think Leites is actually a couple of more wins away from coming back to the UFC, he just needs time for people to forget his Silva and Sakara fights and he’ll get another chance.

I guess they went with “MFC 25: Vindication” because “MFC 25: You May Remember Him Snoring On UFC Ultimate Knockout DVD’s” was a bit wordy.
