damn i like this card
i hope yager is one of the finalists hes so far my favorite guy on the show
Bad fight for Jardine
Hamill’s not exactly a world-beater but he’s got power and Jardine’s chin isn’t exactly the stuff bomb shelters are made of. Maybe Keith can pull off a Rich Franklin-style fight (and I bet that’s the gameplan), but I’ve gotta take Hamill here.

Bad fight for everyone.
Come on, enough with the last-time loser vs last-time loser main events already.
Jardine is 1-4 in his last five. Hamill got KTFO his last time out.
I see this fight as borderline undercard, quite honestly. When you combine it with the UFC 115 main event, I feel bad for any undercarder cut after one or two losses when this type of match-up is considered a main event.

Hamill has never been KTFO, and no matter what u think of the decision, he has a W next to his last 3 fights.
His last was a bullshit win, and everyone - himself included - knows it.
He was helpless on the mat, being ripped to pieces, had nothing left to give. He was done.

I’m kinda sick of seeing Jardine fight lose.

One of my favorite lines from the best TV show ever.
Jardine is a perfect gate keepr for LHW. PLus he usally is in good fights that end in a epic KO even though 90% of the time the Epic KO his him. Even if he losses this fight I think the UFC keeps him around ?
Don't you have to win sometimes to be a gatekeeper.
Oh, I forgot.. he’s ‘unorthodox’.

I agree 100% in a perfect world all fighters if 2 or 3 L’s in a row should have to go back outside the UFc and work there way back in. And don’t even get me going on Jardines unorthodox style, I hate when anyone brings that up becasue all it really just means is Bad technical stand. I myself don’t mind seeing Jardine stay around if he losse this fight. Feed him some can at 205 and if he looses that fight then cut him. The 205 devision is not a devision the UFc wants to let any talent go in. And for how bad Jardine looks at time he does always come to fight. usally has excitng fights which end with a brutal Ko usally it being him and lets not forget he does have some BIG wins at 205.
i find the suggestion that either of these guys is any where near a title shot to be very laughable
solid gatekeepers but neither of them will ever be top 5

I think Hamill had all the tools and potential, but his gameplans are terrible and I really think he needs to train with a better camp.

Wasn’t the last finale headlined by Nate Diaz vs Gray Maynard, and Diaz was coming off of two losses? They don’t usually whip out the star power for this event. If anything its telling of how far Jardine has fallen. Two losses ago he had a very close fought loss to Rampage, and the fight before that he beat Brandon Vera. Now he’s on the Ultimate fighter finale. I mean, this guy has beaten Chuck Liddell.
No.....that was an UFN and Diaz had just beaten Melvin Guillard.
The Seahawks have traded my signature to the Detroit Lions for a 6th round draft pick.
For a Spike headliner compared to past TUF cards, this is by far the weakest
Sanchez/Guida, Huerta/Guida, Penn/Pulver, Franklin/Shamrock, Grove/Tanner, now Hamill/Jardine?
Just seems odd. But it’s free and Jardine will get knocked out.
The Seahawks have traded my signature to the Detroit Lions for a 6th round draft pick.
In terms of name quality/matchups, not the fights themselves.
This one is a total mismatch and Jardine can’t win.

easy Its a good fight, Is there some unwritten rule that two fighters coming off a loss can’t fight or something ?
Do or Die fight for Jardine. If he loses again, he’ll go to undercard status, and from there he’s one loss form being cut. Hamill is a solid fighter who may creep up higher into the LHW division, but I don’t see him being better than high end gatekeeper / fringe contender. He may have power and wrestling, but he is awfully slow for the top of the division.
Jardine will never be cut or be put on the prelims. Even when he losses, he goes out in such an epic fashion. It’s like he practices getting KTFO. Jardine is good highlight material for other fighters.
If he losses this, he’ll probably be on Spike the rest of his short career.
Thing is, Jardine beat Vera in a stinker.
Had a great fight with Rampage, but then got destroyed by Thiago Silva and was never seriously in the Bader fight.
Losing 4 in a row should be enough to cut him.

Really? Jardine loses 3 in a row and headlines an event?
That’s TUF pull for you.
Hamill is going to kill him.
The Seahawks have traded my signature to the Detroit Lions for a 6th round draft pick.
I don’t know if Hamil is going to kill Him that a little to much. I would pick Hamil to win eather with top control for 3 rounds or a KO/TKO But I can also see Jardine dancing around finding a home for his kicks and Jab winng a 3 round decision also. I think the line on this fight will be very close
Oh hell tape delay again?
I’m sick of Spike delaying the free shows to the West. Can’t you just replay the card immediately following the completion of the live broadcast like Versus did for the WEC and the UFC?
Looks like a pretty good card overall. Lots of entertainment for sure.

anyone picking leben?
i saw he was the underdog on the moneyline like +260 and I thought he looked impressinve against J. Silva showing he can wrestle and control I am picking him to derail the A-Train
Simpson's wrestling is light years ahead of Leben's
Sure, Leben hits hard but lately he seems like he’s phoning in his performances since he’s pretty much a lock to stay with the UFC the rest of his career.
See Leben’s fight with Rosholt to see how this one is likely to end.
Get rid of the ramp!
I Hope and Pray that Chris Leben gets embarrassed by Simpson

Oh great. Another Leben fight.
Now we can look forward to another two weeks of Joe Rogan telling us how much Leben has “evolved” because he’s getting drunk in Hawaii now instead of Portland.

Jardine's marzipan chin is not making it through this fight.
I like using semi-colons; they make me feel smart.

a very unorthodox style = getting hit in the face
a VERY underrated ground game = falling down unconscious

easily the worst main event for a free card ever. neither guy is even a contender at this point in time.
should have made a thiago silva vs ryan bader fight the main event….or moved kampmann vs thiago from june 12 to the headliner of this card.
as for the other fights, they should be fun. hopefully they use some of the talent from the show bc it seems to be deep talent pool this season.
Personally..
…I don’t recall ever watching Ryan Bader fight and feeling like I wouldn’t be having more fun cleaning my windows.

Keith Jardine is now known as "The Dean of Antihistamine" because he is always sleeping early in fights..
Kind of surprising Hamill only has 10 fights, seems like he’s been around forever

unorthodox striking or just real Bad ?
Can we please stop it withJardine has unorthodox striking ? You would think buy now people could see the differene in unorthodox and Horrible.
Jardines been getting knocked around lately maybe he can bounce back with this one but Hamill isn’t a easy oppenent but since keith has great leg kicks he should be able to utilize them on hamill.

This fight doesn't really interest me
Jardine looks to be running out of steam and it’s hard to see Hamil emerging as a contender after that dismantling at the hands of Bones.
Given their respective styles I also give this a 70 percent chance of being ugly or boring or both.
On the other hand, all free MMA is good MMA.
Tatum: I think he's a good man. I like him. I got nothing against him, but I'm definitely gonna make orphans of his children.
