With any luck, I’ll be at Mohegan Sun on Thursday to report live results.
Also, there’s a chance Jim Wallhead won’t be able to make it over from the UK due to the ash cloud.
I will more than gladly be your proxy if you don't want to go to Mohegan Sun.

That sucks for Wallhead, that guy really can’t catch a break. I was really looking forward to see him fight, I wonder what Bellator will do with him.
"I fight because I can’t sing, I can’t dance, and it beats working all day. Now ask me a question that doesn’t sound so fucking stupid." – Phil Baroni
Hornbuckle is a bad, bad man. all wins by stopage except one. hopefully he wins this thing and then steps up in competition big time
I don’t like the idea of some guys having more time between their fights than others. To keep it fair they need all the featherweight fights the same week. All the welterweight fights the same week. The way they are doing it some guys won’t have as much time to recover before the next round starts. That just don’t seem fair.
Don’t get me wrong I like the tournament structure. I would just like to see everyone in the tourney fighting on a level playing field. Well actually I like this kind of tournament structure for low tier to mid tier fighters. When it comes to top tier talent I don’t want the fight tarnished by some kind of injury from fighting two weeks earlier. When it comes to top tier talent I want to know both fighters had a proper training camp and are coming in to the fight in the best condition possible with no excuses.
Just BE.
UFC and Strikeforce
have fallen short these last few outtings. and this could possibly just be bad luck, but I believe my favorite televised mma events these last few weeks have been from Bellator.

UFC 111, UFC 112 and UFC Fight Night were good shows don’t get fooled because so people are butthurt over GSP’s dominance and Andy acting a fool.
and the SF event plain sucked
i turned it off for a 20 inning mets game
No one is "butthurt"
Bellator has put on some really fun shows. UFC 112 was a pretty lackluster event which is unfortunate because the card was set to be a great one. But Hughes/Gracie was just a weird fight, Penn looked…odd, Silva acted a fool…and it just kind of made it disappointing. Not bad as much as not what people wanted.
111 was a fine show.
Fight Night was fine.
SF was a turd.
WEC will be the shit.
It’s okay for people to “enjoy” a show more than the past few UFC events.

The people I was with loved UFC 111 with the exception of the last two rounds of the Silva fight but the Edgar fight made up for that. Different strokes for different folks. Shout out to the Shields fight I actually liked it.

Hey, maybe this will actually air at it's regularly scheduled time
Nope, like we need a replay of the Brewer’s getting their ass kicked.

wallhead
so he is not fighting because he can’t get to the usa? do we know if he will still enter the tourny?
There isn’t a spot open for him now, but if someone gets hurt they have a hell of a back-up plan.

For what it's worth...
His management was tweeting the other day, asking people to start petitioning the UFC and Strikeforce to sign him.

bellator
i don’t know what it is about bellator but they sure put on some good EFFIN fights i know it is not top talent but way better then SF and even UFC sometimes
Define “top talent”. A majority of the fighters on the main card of Bellator XV are good enough to be in the UFC/WEC.
top talent
i agree I am not trying to downplay bellators roster cause they are really good fighters that could compete in UFC but I just notice that the fighters in bellator are UFC washouts or up and coming fighters who would not be as successful in the octagon at least not yet (for the up and comers that is) but the featherweights could probably all crossover to WEC for sure. IMHO

Hey I think I heard of that Brett Cooper guy. I remember while looking for JJ gyms I went with a buddy of mine from work to his gym. This guy Spirit Wolf was there teaching and what not. Seemed like a real chill dude. I think he trains with Dean Lister or something. Little did I know a year later he was knocking out this prospect Brett Cooper. Awesome.
whats with some of these records?
cooper is 11-5 on sherdog not 7-2 and steve carl is 9-1 not 2-1
just curious.
Speaking of that does anyone know where I can get Sosynski fight that he had to get into the TUF house. He knocked out one of the guys from my gym to get in. Kind of embarassing but seeing how he turned out it’s not that bad to get KOed by a guy like that. Anyone know were to get it at?
ultimatefighter.com has all the fights from all the TUF shows.

He has a holey stand-up game and really solid ground...
don’t look for him to KO Thomas standing.
