I am glad the Korean Zombie is going to be on SpikeTV

WTF Cerrone fighting Henderson again? Why the fuck isn’t Cerrone fighting Varner isn’t that what everyone wants? I thought Cerrone was going to stay at 145?

by p123 on Apr 18, 2010 9:26 PM EDT reply actions

wait what?

cerrone deserves a title shot and rematch first off and cerrone never went to 145 that i know of

by milk72 on Apr 18, 2010 9:47 PM EDT up reply actions

He got himself confused.

Before the Ratcliff fight, Cerrone said he was going to 145 after it win/lose/draw. However, management needed him to bolster their PPV event.

Varner/Cerrone had been jabbering back and forth at one another for a while, but that kind of went down the toilet once they both lost to Henderson.

Not that I condone facism or any ism for that matter. Isms are in my opinion, not good. A person shouldn't believe in an ism, he should believe in himself.

I quote John Lennon, "I don't believe in Beatles, I just believe in me". Good point there, after all he was the walrus. I could be the walrus. Wouldn't change the fact I have to bum rides off of people.

Ok gotcha. Yea thats what I was thinking. Thought Cerrone Varner would be better matchup considering Cerrone just got a title shot. I guess WEC isn’t that deep though.

I’d look for the Korean Zombie to once and for all show how very ungood Leonard Garcia is.

Also I’m very confident Mike Brown is goign to do mean mean things to Manny Gamburyan but I didn’t expect the line to be that wide.

I hope Anthony Morrison makes the main card.

I’ve been doing conditioning with him for the last few weeks. He’s a great guy and a real fit 145er

the guy who got smashed against mike brown?

didnt get a good look at him in the last fight he was way over matched

by milk72 on Apr 18, 2010 10:11 PM EDT up reply actions

yeah, that's him.

I agree, that was a hell of a way for them to introduce him to the WEC, but hey, you gotta do it at some point.
He’s a real down to earth guy. He’s sponsored by SuckerPunch like my instructor is, so he came down to Atlanta to train and condition with us leading up to the PPV.

Am I the only one that thinks Faber is a decent dog?

he’s been in the battles that Aldo hasn’t

I agree

I too agree. Outside of Brown, Aldo has only really destroyed midtier to lowertier dudes. He did beat Brown but Brown is fairly slow and lumbering for the weight class so Aldo was just able to time his movements and eat him. Faber is a livewire and will be putting a fast pace on him.

That being said, Aldo will destroy Faber if the fight stays on the feet.

As much as I want to see this fight card I can’t pay the $45 price tag. It’s just too much too soon.

Would like to see how Cerrone, Varner, and Henderson fare in the UFC. Cerone would probably get LNPed but his guard is seriously dangerous.

Ben would probably get lit up on the feet by the wreslte boxers but his sub defense is crazy.

Would love to see Guida Henderson that would be sick sick wrestling back and forth match.

Man why aren’t these guys in the UFC? Fuck 155 WEC its just dumb. I think those guys can compete they should be in there.

“that’s b/c he’s a sh*tty person”.

Hilarity. it’s funny how everyone thinks J. Varner is a d**k. lookin real forward to this PPV, that’s for sure. a ton of good/entertaining bouts lined up.

Gatti. Dekkers. Pele. Aoki. Kang. Vanderlei. Basillio. Harry Greb.

lame. lame. lame.

Cerrone keeps getting bites at the apple. this is his third title shot. one against Varner. one against Ben Henderson. and now another.

if Reed Harris was doing his job there would be more than three LWs in the WEC that anyone cares about. come on. time to give someone — ANYONE — a shot other than Cerrone.
