booolsheet
Jason is a great up-and-coming fighter, after he rolls through a few guys in Strikeforce they’ll take him back.

With all the injuries happening on bellator,
I think that could be a good option too, as long as he doesn’t have to fight Brett Cooper.

Isn't that kind of the point?
Why chance him losing further and permanently damaging a prospect? Get a few wins, some more experience, then come on back. Don’t see why that makes it booolsheet.
He was signed coming off just 1 loss, which was for the DREAM WW title. He got his second loss in a row when he was IN the UFC already. I calk up tha second one to the dreaded octagon jitters.
Still its done, he gets a couple of wins on the smaller circuits and he’s probably back in
Boner kill
It was cool to see someone from kc fighting in the big league. Let’s hope he makes it right back up there after a few wins
Consider yourself warned, im offensive and creative like handicap porn

man
pretty harsh that he only lost one fight before getting cut. It wasn’t any fun to watch though, guess that was a factor.

"It wasn’t any fun to watch though, guess that was a factor."
Seems lately, and not surprisingly, to be a bigger and bigger factor.
Eventually you will have to come running in, hands-down, berserker-style like Wandy in order to not get cut after losing your debut….
"Well, yes, but I’m afraid I prematurely shot my wad on what was supposed to be a dry run, if you will, so now I’m afraid I have something of a mess on my hands." - Tobias Fünke
"There are just so many poorly chosen words in that sentence." - Michael Bluth
One of my favorite lines from the best TV show ever.
The not fun to watch thing comes a lot more from Brenneman going to the Clay Guida school of mad dogging a leg, getting a fight to the ground and throwing continuous hammer fists from the guard while never attempting to advance position or finish the fight. I think many refs would have stood up the fight on a couple of occassions.
High had quick strikes and solid sub attempts.
How did I end up on this bandwagon and why does everything say property of Chael Sonnen?
The interesting thing is Jason was the one who was trying to finish that fight. I scored it 29-28 High, personally, because the second round was close and in the third Charlie did nothing besides lay-n-prey while Jason locked up two guillotines. I talked after the fight how I believe that this is something we need to take from Japan judging, in that, reward the fighter who is trying to finish. And that’s what swayed the third round for me.
But this isn’t uncommon for the UFC, and in some certain cases Joe Silva has told those prospects one reason is that they can grab a couple quick fights and win and get paid, while it would take them months to just get booked on another UFC card, so that’s something else to look at. I think the MFC would be a solid spot for Jason with Jesse and Antonio there already.
Just having that “Former UFC fighter” in front of you name is enough to get you booked in many of the smaller promotions.
Also youre probably right about MFC. For selfish reasons I’d like to see him go to Bellator.

I wish they would have given him at least 1 more fight.
To me it seems like the UFC is more frequently signing new prospects now. I think this may be a case of them making room in their bottom tier to create turnover in hopes of finding the next great prospect.
Just BE.
I think they're just grabbing up likeness rights
of fighters they don’t have any actual interest in — see Trigg, Baroni, etc

I thought he looked pretty good in that fight, they should have given him at least one more.

UFC Welterweight division is stacked. If you can’t win and have a boring fight against a fellow newcomer, you are probably going to get cut. High also got crushed by Jay Hieron in Affliction. I think the main point is he really wasn’t ready for the big leagues yet.
