edgar's basically the only reason i broke even
if i didn’t have such a big bankroll already i probably wouldn’t have made much
I got lucky to "make money"
I played it safe with my parlay just Hughes and Davis due to awesome odds but I decided to put the rest of my money on BJ as safe money.
I had an awful night but it looks like everyone had one. Still in 2nd but is Nick is catching up and termin8r199 extends his lead.

Man I don’;t bet but I thought Edgar was a good guy to make a small bet on. I knew that Edgar shouldn’t be that big of an underdog.
That’s how it works right? If Edgar should have been a +200 but came up ats +800 you would make that bet based on the lines being so off right?
I get nervous betting though the last minute I start changing my mind and I just say ah fuck it.
to be fair i had never watched him fight but there were a couple factors in my head
1) is he really have better striking or wrestling than diego sanchez? because he got dominated and i thought they had similar styles
2) recent loss to maynard, who just barely scraped by diaz, who is sort of a lesser template of penn’s style. maybe that was too much MMAth

Its ok. Being uninformed is a normal scenario for being wrong predicting fights. That’s whats good about MMA in the betting world , if you really know your shit you can get over on the oddsmakers unlike the other big sports who have scouts galore and everyone knows their shit.
Here is the wild wild west.
Well Frankie has always been scrappy tough wrestler no quit. He was one of the hottests propspects in LW for a long time the resume he has in crazy. Maynard did lay on him for 3 rounds he didn’t beat him up.
Frankie’s fight with Sherk was a huge deal. Thats when he really stepped up his striking. Also the way he handled a dangerous up and comer like Matt Veach speaks volumes about Frankie’s dedication seeing as that was a trap fight.
Yea he is way more talented than Diego striking and grappling. Diego doesn’t have striking actually hes made up for his inadequacies in the striking department with speed quickness and his scrambling wrestling style.
In LW alot of that speed was negated so thats why he left because he likes to fight like a scrambler not a big guy using his size.
I didn’t bet. I didn’t know that BE was still interested in MMA Playground, hadn’t heard results in a long time.

And to think I rushed through my picks Friday night.. Maybe I should start doing that more often.

Hell yeah, #5!
My parlay on Dos Anjos, Madsen and Story got me the majority of my stratch. I’m #12 on the year now!
#8 in points!
Yea! I didn’t realize they were closing betting so early on Friday, too bad, planned to bet it all on Madsen. I did make 10 real dollars on that fight, so I’m content.
