"I matured a lot after leaving the UFC, I began to see things with different eyes, I changed my game to follow the trend of the MMA world. They pay you to fight and want entertainment, and if you're not entertaining, if you're boring, there's a line behind you waiting to fight. It's a job market. To keep up, you have to struggle to stay exciting... Wanderlei (Silva) [has stayed in the UFC] even while losing three of his five fights, because, even though he is losing, they're the best fights of the night. He puts on a show, and that's what guys want." -- Thales Leites

Despite Leites’ fight with Anderson SIlva, I always thought that he was a quality fighter. I liked his fight against Nate Marquardt and thought that it was an exciting fight (minus the point deductions). He has a good and realistic outlook on fighting in MMA, but he is a BJJ guy, so just because he has this new outlook, I hope he doesn’t become like a Jorge Gurgel.
Actually I feel kind of bad for Leites one fight no matter how horrilbe it is shouldn’t ruin your career but there is no excuse for him losing to Sakara.
