Seth Petruzelli venting frustration over signs that the Moosin event in Boston featuring Tim Sylvia vs. Mariusz Pudzianowski and himself vs. Houston Alexander is falling apart:

"now i just got the contract to fight houston alexander and they just called my manager this morning to push it back till who knows when!!!!
i am so sick of this sh*t, i am sorry to rant but i just need to get it out off my chest. i know i can compete with top level guys, and i deserve to be in the big shows. i am sick of the inconsistency of smaller shows and them always getting pushed or canceled. i want to fight every 3 months or so but this makes it impossible!!! i dont know what else to do at this point...."

MMArocks has been reporting for a while now that Pudzianowski/Sylvia is probably not happening.

Seth's not a bad fighter

but he’s not great by any stretch of the imagination. I wonder if the reason he doesn’t really get looked at by Strikeforce or dream as some division fodder might just be because of his personality. If he was quieter he could be doing the same things Mike Whitehead is doing. Maybe not though, maybe he’s just not that good.

or maybe he wants more money than he’s worth.

I didnt say it was wrong… ask for whatever you want, but realize you only deserve what you can actually get paid.

That actually seems way more likely, and I’m a little upset for not thinking of that.

Isuspect that is part of it.

I suspect the other part is how he flapped his gums after the Kimbo fight about Standgate. Reporters may love loose lips, but promoters do not. Nobody wants a snitch in their locker room.

What Else Can I do?

Keep cutting weight, win any fights you can get, and pray the ufc has another Ultimate Fighter The Comeback…

Probably doesn’t deserve to be on bigger shows unless he meant the undercard.

As for the inconsistency of smaller promotions. MFC? strikeforce challengers?

In NJ there are a few local shows that are constantly putting on cards every few months.

demand less money and sign with strikeforce or bellator.

Schedule a fight in mexico with a reliable guy like Ken Shamrock.

That will do the trick!

The MMA event scheduled for Worcester, Massachusetts that is rumored to be importing Polish strongman Mariusz Pudzianowski to the U.S. to face former UFC champion Tim Sylvia has a new date.

Event promoter Corey Fischer told MMA Fighting that the event has been moved back a month, to May 21 from its original April 23 date, in order to solve a television scheduling conflict.

“The event is definitely happening,” Fischer said. “We moved it back a month, but we have the pay-per-view contract signed, arena contract signed, and we’re moving forward.”

The event is definitely happening

Will it still definitely be the biggest MMA event ever in the northeast? And will it still definitely have a better card than the UFC, Mr. Fischer?

Josh Barnett still needs an opponent for DREAM.13, Seth.

Have Kimbo/Petruzelli 2 on Spike?

Not that I condone facism or any ism for that matter. Isms are in my opinion, not good. A person shouldn't believe in an ism, he should believe in himself.

I quote John Lennon, "I don't believe in Beatles, I just believe in me". Good point there, after all he was the walrus. I could be the walrus. Wouldn't change the fact I have to bum rides off of people.

maybe stop coming out with other fighters with a leash on acting like a dog

get rid of the world’s worst hairdo, and stop running your mouth all the time, begging for the camera to be on you

oh, and win your fights

by CaptainSpaulding on Mar 8, 2010 5:45 PM EST reply actions

I know one fight he won.

by John Nash on Mar 8, 2010 6:20 PM EST up reply actions

He demands a lot of money for being the “Kimbo killer” but every amount of hype that came from the fight is already gone because he hasn’t fought consistently (on TV).
Just sign with the UFC/SF/DREAM/Sengoku/Bellator.
It may be for less money but the exposure makes up for it.
