Don’t even vote. Every vote he gets, either way, gives his site traffic and shows that someone cared at least enough about the situation to participate. No doubt he’ll use the data to try and show that he generates interest and brings viewers. The best way to ensure this guy goes away and stops being a news item is to just ignore him as the nobody that he is.
