BAD-ASS
They don’t play around with the going out on a loss tradition over there.

@deowade
you aren’t kidding about going out on a loss. I think it was Kakuda vs Musashi, in Kakuda’s final fight. That man showed more heart than I’ve ever seen in that fight.

Wow
Megumi looks a lot like Sun from Lost in that picture.
Has anyone heard anything more about why MIku is retiring?
Jordan Breen said
Initially, in talking to some people close to Miku, it was cast as “man trouble” or general, non-specific romantic life vagueness. However, as the weeks went on, people close to her said she was seriously depressed and not at all interested in fighting.
Many of the more senior women in the MMA community, like Yoko Takahashi and Megumi Yabushita apparently reached out to her, as well.
So, while I am loathe to turn this into a high school rumorfest, Miku’s situation is allegedly far more personally pressing than the trite “Oh, Japanese women need to settle down and get married” theme we often see.
yes!

If you didn't know any better..
you would never guess from this picture that Megu could snap half of your tendons.
I just spent the last 15 minutes watching YouTube videos of Megumi Fuji, because I had no clue who she was. If that’s what women’s MMA looked like in the states, I would definitely be more interested in watching it.
Tatum: I think he's a good man. I like him. I got nothing against him, but I'm definitely gonna make orphans of his children.
Oh man i’m totally with you on that. There was a time i didn’t want to watch Women’s MMA, let alone roll with women on the mats, but when i saw Mega Megu and Shayna Baszler in action i was completly converted.
Its like watching those ToughMan fights and judging all Combat sports on that barometer. Its not a fair comparison to make. Same goes to Womens MMA, there is so much high quality fighters that we shouldnt be detered from watching just because there are women who are not very good as well.
