UFC 115 in Vancouver is a no-go, Cincinnati expected:
"A planned UFC show in Vancouver in June is on the ropes, apparently due to insurance and other issues."
"A source told The Canadian Press that the show has been called off and the mixed martial arts promoter is looking at Cincinnati as a possible replacement city."
[Update by Nick Thomas] - Chuck Liddell vs. Rich Franklin is rumored to be the main event.

If they’re looking at Cincinnati for the replacement, Franklin’s going to be on the card one way or another. Whether he fights Liddell or they set up the Couture match is what I’m curious about.

I agree.
Cincy being possible is almost a giveaway that Franklin will be fighting at UFC 115.
Sig bet record: 1-0.
Anyone know
when Matt Hamil will be ready to fight again? He has a pretty big following in Ohio as well.
I told you not to f*ck with me.
Thiago Silva vs. Jon Jones, anyone?
We're just a million little gods causin' rain storms, turning every good thing to rust.
I like it a lot. That is quite a step up in competition, even from Vera. But I really like that fight.
Jones would just mercilessly take down Silva at will.
And then actually do something, as opposed to Evans.
Sig bet record: 1-0.

Yeah. As opposed to GSP. Didn't go for a submission at all.....
Sig bet record: 1-0.

you’d think he would have at least gone for an armbar.. or 2

Why is there a picture of Liddell vs Franklin?
have the rumors been confirmed yet? This makes it look like an official announcement, had to read through the whole article only to find that it’s not mentioned anywhere
Nope...it's pretty much a done deal
Franklin is going to start camp pretty soon….and he’ll be at a striking school in the NE….that’s all I can say
I hope so.
I’d much rather Franklin/Liddell than Franklin/Couture. An interesting and somewhat technical stand-up battle versus a fight up against the fence. I know which one I would prefer.
and
me.
uuuh yeah I write for the Cincinnati Enquirer. Thanks?

Dear Vancouver City Council,
You’re a disgrace to our fine city. Eff you and the uninsured horse you rode in on.
Sincerely,

At least you had the possibility
Toronto is getting quietly patted on the head with our premier saying, “Oh that’s not something you people really care about.”
Let’s admit it: as the most rabid nation of MMA fans there is (yeah, I said it), we are collectively being screwed by myopic, gutless politicians and bureaucrats.
Canada deserves better.

I’ll admit to being out of the loop for awhile. What on earth is going on with this whole Liddell-Ortiz-Franklin triangle here?
right now it’s all rumor; but…
Liddell and Ortiz are the coaches on the next TUF and supposedly Tito leaves part way through and people are saying Franklin is replacing him and fighting chuck at the end of the season.
(Dana said no, Franklin is going to fight Couture; but could be misdirection)
