I know the pics certainly won’t come close to Esther Lin-ish levels (who is definitely my favorite mma photographer), but do tell me what you think. :)
Cool stuff. I think I’ll have to use one of these as inspiration for a piece.

This is a quick-late night-I-need-to-go-to-sleep study of Shane Carwin, I did after the fight. I had to watch that fight twice.

Nice work! Some awesome moments captured there, feel like I can pick up the vibe of each fighter at that moment.
Particularly like Richard_Lasprilla_vs_Angelo_Estanol_3_small.jpg with the corner men.
Thanks,
that’s my favorite as well. :)

The girl who took photos with me, isn't an MMA fan,
she actually dislikes the sport a lot. but I still force her to watch mma all the time. haha… she blogged about the URCC:
I couldn’t care less about this event. But I took decent pictures while bending over on the ringside in heels and pekpek shorts. So you have to give me credit for that.
.
I was semi-rooting for the Korean dude! He looked like Goku, my childhood crush back when I was in kindergarten but James Yap II kicked his ass. Oh well.
(James Yap is a Filipino basketball star who sorta looks like Folayang.. haha)

did u take any of the ring girls?
Philipina women are my favorite and i would love to see some pics if u have any more. Also was wondering if there is a place where we can watch these fights on the net. Or do u know if these fights will replay in the philipines? My wife is still there and wants to watch them , thanks, great pics!
I did. haha.
URCC Ring Girls:

Padi’s Point (Sponsor) Ring Girls:

(Not a ring girl), one of the hosts, giving out freebies before the event started:

They’ll probably televise a replay on Solar Sports or RPN (maybe)… I’m not sure exactly when though.

Awsome Pics!
The arena looks huge, how many people were there? My favorite was Eduard “Landslide” Folayang vs. Dooje Chung #4. Great job.
It's probably just the angle,
It’s actually one of the more intimate venues around, I don’t know the actual number of people for the event or if they sold out tickets, but I think the Venue can pack around 4000 people.

Just out of curiosity
Do you train w/ Folayang by chance? Or is he just your fav fighter? Because it really seems like you plug him whenever he has an upcoming fight.
Maybe you could make a HL reel of his fights/ training or something. haha

Go Gonzaga! G-O-N-Z-A-G-A
I don't.
It’s more of giving more exposure to Filipino MMA than that. He just happens to be, by far, the country’s biggest star.

Photoshop, I'm guessing
You using Inner Shadow on these photos for the darker edges?
Sure glad Lesnar got his shit straightened out.
Yes, I edited the pics using photoshop, but no, I did not use inner shadow. :)

I’m assuming the vignetting around the edges is a post effect… I use that look a lot, but I really prefer Filters>Distort>Lens Correction, with the “vignette” setting at about -20. Real nice, round look. Ever try it?
Sure glad Lesnar got his shit straightened out.
yeah, I like that kind of look,
but I do it manually, cause for some pics, I do not like all the edges to have a darker shade, or for that effect to look too clean and uniform. Do you get what I mean? The slight difference is probably too tiny for people to even notice though, haha. :)

if they notice, it usually means you took it too far. :)

(There are vignettes all over the damn place.)
Sure glad Lesnar got his shit straightened out.
You noticed.
what does that mean? haha :P
awesome work dude…
PS
I knew you were a TUF newb. haha ;)
