Antonio Carvalho got a win on the W-1 card, too. It was his first fight in almost two years.

Satoshi Ishii fought on the X-1 card, won an “exhibition” by first round kimura against a no-name Hawaiian dude.

If anybody can find out for me why Monson wasn't on the XCL show

I would really appreciate it. He was the advertised main event, and no word was ever mentioned about him. It was annoying, to say the least.

According to Sherdog,

Monson fought last weekend in France, choking out the 0-3 Francisco Nonato. Although I wouldn’t put it past Monson to fight on consecutive weekends, I’d imagine the France fight would be the reason for him not participating in the XCL event.

Glad to see Jason MacDonald finally string together 2 wins in a row

He’s had a run of pretty tough losses, so I’m sure he’s happy to finally start rebuilding a bit of forward momentum.
