Around SBN: Nevin Shapiro Vows To Bring Down Miami

Georges St-Pierre and Gegard Mousasi plan to train together again soon:

Georges St-Pierre - "[Mousasi] He's amazing, he's a great fighter, he's an even greater human being than a fighter. He's a great guy. We plan to train together."

Gegard Mousasi - "Maybe [St-Pierre] he will come to Holland to work on his stand-up, cause we have good K-1 stand-up fighters in Holland, and maybe I'd join him one time in his training camp when he has a fight so we can help each other."

The most appropriate pic possible

I wanted to post a funny pic here but Nick Thomas has made it happen.

Gegard is training with GSP, and King Mo is training with Rashad Evans. GSP and Evans are both with Jackson’s MMA, I wonder if it’s at all weird knowing your training partner/friend is helping someone to beat another of your friend/training partner…

Best. Photo. Ever.

Sure glad Lesnar got his shit straightened out.

Great choice by Mousasi. Even though Mo is bigger than GSP, nobody has better takedowns than Georges. If he can stop GSP’s takedowns he has a much better shot of stopping Mo.

Mo has ridiculous takedown ability. That was his shit in college, taking All-american wrestlers on explosive rides to the mat and pinning ‘em quick. GSP has the striking and ring-knowledge to more effectively use takedowns in a MMA match, but if Mo does get in on a shot, rest assured that it’s harder to stop than GSP’s.

I guess that's the "wrong" spelling =p

Just kidding, I’m referring to the fact that Marquard is known to be marquardt’s buddy, hence the marquardt picture.

I…

Was there a typo in there, or am I just really out of the MMA friendship loop?

I love when I play grammar nazi just to fail three words later with a typo.
