Several prelims on the card for the WEC's PPV debut may air live on Versus, in a similar fashion to the UFC's airing of live prelim fights on Spike prior to PPV events.

That's a great idea.
But I have mixed feelings about this PPV.
On one hand I want it to be a success so that the WEC athletes will get better pay. The top guy in a weight class making 40/40 is a little ridiculous.
On the other hand, I already pay out the ass for PPV’s already. With at least 13 UFC PPVs a years that is already $585 that I pay. That being said, one or two WEC mega card PPVS probably wouldn’t put me in the poor house. I just hope they don’t get carried away.
Great card. PPV aside. The fights are great. Prelims can only help.
I have mixed feelings on the whole thing.

![Reed Harris says the WEC could have three PPV events a year:
"I don't have the official numbers [for WEC 48] ... and it could take a couple months. [But] we had a number internally we were [aiming] for, and we far exceeded that according to the early estimates. I don't think that [three PPV shows a year] would be would something we couldn't attain."
