This goatee is up there with Belcher’s tattoo as the ugliest things in MMA.

He looks at his wife through the context of martial arts?
"If your going to come on then come on!" - Harold Howard
Yeah, I’m sure she thinks that’s awesome. He was making about zero sense in that second video.
Without pain, without sacrifice, we would have nothing.

That religion comment at the end of the second video seemed really out of place. Seems like Mir is the type of atheist that can’t wait to tell you how stupid your beliefs are, which seems about right considering all the emphasis he puts on what an intellectual he is.
Without pain, without sacrifice, we would have nothing.

His intellectualism is well documented.
But might be seeing to much into his last comment.
"You hit too hard, too hard, too hard..."
His need to tell everybody that he's an intellectual is also well documented.
You know what that’s called? Being a douche.
Without pain, without sacrifice, we would have nothing.

Sometimes I like Mir, but sometimes he just is a grade A douche
I think a lot of the time he just trolls people and sells himself pretty well while doing so, but it’s uncomfortable when you see that sometimes he is just buying into his own BS.
I think the most irritating trait in any person is the need to come across as better or more knowledgeable or more intelligent than others. Most of us do it (me included), and nowhere more so than on internet site comments sections. But it is infuriating.
I love people who are better than most of us at something, they are shining examples of what we all could be, but who don’t have the need to come across as such (most people who really are, don’t do it).
But back on topic. I find almost every fighter at the top of UFC HW pretty annoying.
- Lesnar Just an ass, don’t like the redneck, it’s all about me and mine attitude
- Carwin Another ass, holier than thou attitude, a populist
- Mir Egotistic ass, speaks out of his most of the time
- Velasquez Brown pride, don’t care for any supremacist sentiments be they any color or shape
- Dos Santos So far pretty likable actually, but not buying all the hype yet
Brown pride
supremacist sentiments
LOL…Seriously?
If Derek Jeter clubbed a baby seal on earth day while wearing a mink coat and crocodile skin boots while burning tires on an iceberg, the reaction would be "Its OK Derek, you’re a Yankee." -First mammal to wear pants
I don't understand the reactions to some of the things he says...
I didn’t really hear him say anything here that warrants being called a douche, or really being bashed in any way. I’m under the impression that people must read a lot into every single thing he says at all times, so they can feed their dislike for Mir.
I'm like PacMan fightin you silly kids... throw ya Hatton the ring, and get knocked outlike Ricky did.
lol.
You may be on to something here...
No, seriously, it’s like people hate him so much, no matter what he says, it’s dog sh*t to them. The latter part of the second video didn’t really make sense, and that’s about the only negative thing to say about it.
"Well, yes, but I’m afraid I prematurely shot my wad on what was supposed to be a dry run, if you will, so now I’m afraid I have something of a mess on my hands." - Tobias Fünke
"There are just so many poorly chosen words in that sentence." - Michael Bluth
One of my favorite lines from the best TV show ever.
