The UFC has officially announced UFC 114: Jackson vs. Evans for May 29th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, which will be headlined by the long-awaited bout between TUF 10 coaches Quinton "Rampage" Jackson and Rashad Evans.
"I really want to knock this guy out," Jackson said. "I’ve never, ever wanted to knock someone as cold as I want to knock Rashad Evans out. He’s disrespected me so much, for so long. I am so motivated to train my ass off. I’ve moved my coaches into my house already - Rashad should be prepared to see a brand new Rampage in May. I saw him in Sydney a few weeks back and we picked up right where we left off. I can’t stand him. He’s a disrespectful person and I didn't even want to beat Wanderlei as much as I want to beat this guy."
Tickets will go on sale starting March 25th for Fight Club members. The event will coincide with the UFC's second Fan Expo weekend.

Rampage makes fun of a supposedly embarassing KO Rashad took when he himself has had some highlight reel KO’s put on him too.

I would rather it take 16-17 knees from wand to lay me out than a couple punches from machida. If anything rampages loss showed his granite chin.

This entire fight is going to come down to Rashad’s ability to take him down. If he can, he wins a decision, if he can’t, he’ll get knocked the fuck out.

So it’ll take Rampage three tries to beat Rashad too?
Depending on how Rampage shows up come fight time, I will go with Rampage on this one unless he comes in unprepared. I really can’t see Rashad KOing or TKOing Rampage on the feet, but he may take him down and eventually win a decision. However, Rampage actually does have very good takedown defense and his standup is very good. I also don’t think that Rampage, or Rashad for that matter, has to worry about leg kicks.
