Rich Franklin talks Randy Couture and aims for the title:
"It’s not signed yet, but we’ve been working Randy now for a while. We’ve talked June, then we talked August and now we’re talking June again," Franklin said. "I think we’re having problems with Randy’s scheduling. So I really don’t know what the plan is at this point."
"I’m at a point now where I’ve fought enough fights and it’s time for me to make a title run again and see where that takes me. That’s where my focus is Now,’‘ said Franklin, who has five fights left on his contract. "It depends on the speed of things. I would imagine I’ll probably end up negotiating one more contract before I retire. I’m looking at another two or three years of fighting."

ill be the first to say
good. lets see what he has. if its his old bag of tricks then F no. but thats what makes this sport so great. we get blindsided on a per event basis with something so far out of left field, and who knows. it is a stretch….maybe a very huge stretch, but you can always change your game, make leaps and strides, come back with new purpose and heart…things can be different. i not sure I can stomach another beatdown from silva, I like franklin too much as a human being, but im willing to watch and see.

I still can't get over his nose.
Frankin’s nose post-Silva looks nothing at all like Franklin’s nose pre-Silva. He’s just a different guy.
I like using semi-colons; they make me feel smart.
you got that right
silva sure smashed that thing up into his face and off to the side. Thats a shitty reminder everyday of how bad you got pummeled…so we are talking MW for the title run? I think he is competitive with just about everyone but silva, and there are some intriguing matchups in there that could be very fan friendly to witness.

His title run will be back down at 85 after Anderson makes the jump up permanent.
