Did they mention WEC in the video?
I think the trailer works has a UFC feel to it. Many causal fans may just buy it as a UFC event.

I've always thought they should change the WEC name to something UFC-based...
Just to trick the average fan into thinking it is the UFC….which in all fairness, it basically is…same company, just different weight classes; and the best athletes for those weight classes.

This is really one hell of a card. Better imo than anything SF has put on. Really, better than many UFC cards as well

that kick is probably the coolest thing ever but the wec lw division is minor league while the bantamweight division isnt its the best in the world

Weirder things have happened than Faber being competitive with Aldo…
Aldo ran right through Brown who beat Faber twice…
But Faber and Brown are really different in their styles…

I loved that. It was like an Olympic 100m dash, except you could kick each other. That would make the summer Olympics more exciting, IMO.

Kidding. Still ordering, still stoked.
This is an AWESOME card... and I'm really excited for Faber vs Aldo,
but sadly, it’s not going to sell well…
