Mark Munoz Opens Reign Gym

LazieTheSavage stopped by and posted this video earlier and had the following to say:

Just wanted to say thanks to Big Nog, Urijah Faber, King Mo, Babalu, Joseph Benavidez, The Ruffo Bros, Ms RaRa and Ryan Loco for taking the time to kick it with us... and a special thanks to Mark Munoz for inviting us out to cover his event. It was a pleasure and we look forward to the next one! ~LTS

Check out the video as it features a host of great fighters and checks out Reign Gym, which was recently opened by UFC star Mark Munoz.

Hot damn.

Munoz’s stock in the game is rising, very business savvy move opening up a gym. Impressive looking facility Mark.

How expensive is it to open your own gym? That one looks decent and Munoz doesn’t seem like he has the roll for that kind of facility? I’m assuming he was backed by someone and he is the “owner” in name only?

It’s nice to see guys trying to set up a future for themselves so they don’t have to keep fighting into their 40s like so many of the first generation fighters.

He’s opening it in conjunction with Cutting Edge Training Facility, as a partnership. It’s the place where him, Babalu, King Mo, Mayhem, and all of Black House has been doing their Strength and Conditioning. When everybody was wondering how Big Nog looked in such better shape at 102, it’s because of the work he did at Cutting Edge.
