I'm glad that someone else...
especially someone with some voice in the sport, saw Inside MMA and noticed this about Toney. He was definitely barely understandable, but what did come through was a complete lack of respect for the sport. I hope Dana saw it and decides that the best use of Toney is as a warning to other Boxers who think they can come into MMA and get by on their “striking”.
I was pretty impressed with Ray Mercer’s respect for the sport, however.
Didn't
Ray Mercer claim, after he KO’d Tim Sylvia, that he was a Master of the sport? :/

“Let me tell you about Jose Canseco when he fought in Dream last year against Hong Man Choi. We were in the same hotel as him, we were having breakfast downstairs myself, Ray Sefo and Jan ‘The Giant’ Norte. Canseco comes up to me and Ray and he goes ‘What rules am I fighting under? What is this? What am I doing? Who is Hong Man Choi?’. We’re looking at him saying ‘Dude, are you serious? You’ve come all this way for an internationally televised bout, on nationally television in North America, national TV prime-time in Japan and you’re asking advice on the morning of the fight on how to fight your opponent and all you’ve come to Japan with is your friggin big double, triple Z breasted girlfriend? That’s it? Come on man.’”

My jaw dropped when I heard that. We all knew Jose didn’t take that fight seriously but what the fucking fuck man.
