Andrei Arlovski - "Strikeforce Deal is Final":
"As promised I wanted to tell you all first hand, I have a multi-fight deal for the next 16 months with Strikeforce and I cannot wait to get into the ring and show the world what I have been working on the last few months."
[UPDATE] - vs. Antonio "Bigfoot" Silva on May 15 in St. Louis.

Seriously
The next two Strikeforce cards could be pretty damn great.
Blackout612- "Wuts teh UFC?"
Ubernoober- "It like two guy who just stand and swing for fence and try to knock each other shit out it awesome"
Bigfoot will tear him up. Rewatch the first minute of Bigfoot/Werdum and tell me there is any way Andrei (or his chin at least) will survive that attack.

I'm pretty sure you're wrong here.

Sure I myself think Andre should win this fight and should be the favorite coming in also. But Come on Brent you have to know dam well if Silva hits him on that paper chin he has with a clean power shot its almost certain its lights out for Arlovski. There is no dout this is a dangerous fight for Arlovski and I am glad he is taking a fight with a lagit HW and not some can just to get a easy W.
I got to thinking
and maybe AA and Overeem would be a title fight. Then if AA wins, Fedor can come KO him on CBS again. If Overeem wins he can fight Fedor and get KOd on CBS.
I always thought AA had the skillset and athletic tools, I’m hoping this SF run shows off a new and improved fighter. Regardless a good pickup for Coker.
Andrei is a great, great fighter with the horrible curse of being highly KO-able. Perhaps his time focused on boxing has given him some great defensive looks, cuz lord knows he coulda used a shoulder-roll against Rogers or Timmeh
We're just a million little gods causin' rain storms, turning every good thing to rust.
Or lateral movement.
Backing straight up is an awesome defensive technique!
Also, he needs to learn from Anderson and PFB…

Absolutely! Obviously he has the fatal habit of leaving himself wide open. It’s no shame in being KO’d by Fedor and Brett, but he need not ever put himself in that position by way of bad technique.
I’m not saying it’s shame to be KO’d by Fedor, but the truth is that he KO’d only two guys on his feet: Rogers and Arlovski. So in some way Andrei might feel exceptional…

Props to Andrei for wanting to compete at an appropriate level, not following in the steps of Sylvia

Is Sylvia fighting Sims because he wants a win, or because he doesn’t have very many options?
The man known simply as "Christmas Cheesesteak"
and sadly, i think a lot of fighting at HW in mma is looks. People expect the huge, athletic, muscled hw like AA and not a 6’8" amoeba like tim has been recently. People are more marketable if they look the part.

and if you can't look ripped at least try to look like you're badass maniac.
silvia should get his face tattooed!
Go big red!
Good deal on the beard
The bigger and furrier, the more padding for that glass chin, bro!
AA is living off his name now
AA is clearly living off his name now. I don’t care to see him or Antonio Silva fight. Antonio Silva is a steroid user who should be banned from MMA.
