awesome

I really like this fight. Credeur was in one of the best fights of 2009 against Quarry and Lawler was in one of the best fights of 2010 (thus far) with Simpson. Can’t wait to see Lawler’s weigh-in and walkout antics!!

The Credeur/Quarry fight was a sloppy dreadful mess.

If that were two woman fighting with the exact same action people would’ve blasted it saying woman shouldn’t be fighting in MMA.

I found it laughable to say the least people thought it was a FOTY contender.

I find your laughing at attempted elitism pedantically laughable.

There are fun brawls, that wasnt one of them. The third round looked like they were moving in slow motion. I couldnt believe that a professional fighter could have handspeed that slow.

I think both these guys won their last fight

but both lost very close decisions… cant wait for it, should be a war!!

by PHISH NATION on Feb 9, 2010 4:21 PM EST reply actions

credeur

Tim definitely lost to Quarry, he got rocked in the 2nd and 3rd round badly but survived.

by Brian Hemminger on Feb 9, 2010 4:22 PM EST up reply actions

Yeah and Lawlor got absolutely screwed, so this fight makes perfect sense.

This is a slobberknocker.. Looking at Lawlor to take this one

Kimbo vs Mitrione

I understand why UFC is going to put this on the main card, but I hope it lasts 10 seconds so we get an undercard fight to watch. I don’t really care who wins.

by Cocytus on Feb 9, 2010 4:30 PM EST reply actions

My thought exactly. I wanna see the Stephens v. Stout match.

by racebannon on Feb 9, 2010 4:34 PM EST up reply actions

Hold on one minute...

Let me call you guys a Whaaaaaaabulance. Kimbo hate is old.

by coleko on Feb 9, 2010 5:00 PM EST up reply actions

Damn, you’re right. Why would I want to watch a bout between fighters who have trained MMA for most of their life when I could watch Street Brawler vs ex-mediocre NFL guy.

by Cocytus on Feb 9, 2010 5:23 PM EST up reply actions

Hoping fights end early so we get prelim action is Kimbo hate?

It’s a common theme on lots of cards, and people are hoping that what is likely to be the sloppiest fight between two guys known to trade ends early.

I agree with you but kimbo has barely fought in his fights since getting ko’d… I have a feeling this is gonna end like Alexander vs Kimbo, with both guys’ hands on their knees.

That, my friends, is a solid fight card. Party at my place.

After seeing him live at UFN 20

I am a Tom Lawlor fan for sure!

I'm the kind of girl who loves to watch a GOOD fight!

Lawler has to be at least a 2-1 favorite in this fight after watching the way Credeur decided to stand and bang with Quarry and how crisp Lawler’s striking looked (in the first two rounds) against Simpson.

Giving Shogun his props. I had the fight 48-47 Machida but Shogun put up a monumental performance and I am honored to have seen it in person.

hopefully he does this entrance..as per my suggestion on the UG thread

Lawlor's sub defense has yet to be tested

and we’ve seen Tim catch good wrestlers (Catone) although CB managed to smother him on the show. I’m still gonna go with Credeur by sub.

Great matchmaking!

I love both these guys! I don’t care who wins ’cause im sure this fight will be great!.. hopefully…

by Jigger on Feb 9, 2010 4:54 PM EST reply actions

Lawlor by TKO. Whilst he is a BJJ black belt, Credeur’s ju jitsu has never impressed me. Even though he subbed Catone, he pretty much went through every submission there is before he finally got the guillotine, every time it looked like he had something locked up, Catone escaped. Lawlor is a big MW and I think he will easily beat Credeur on the feet or on the ground

by StevenGiles on Feb 9, 2010 5:02 PM EST reply actions

As I recall

He got a ton of leglockas on Catone but mainly used them as sweeps

by IRodC on Feb 10, 2010 12:17 AM EST up reply actions

Damn

As much as I love this fight, this is one where is really sucks to see either guy lose :(

by Chuntsman949 on Feb 9, 2010 5:22 PM EST reply actions

This better be a main card fight purely based on the awesomeness probability of Lawlor’s entrance.

Belcher is all kinds of main card worthy. But Lawlor and Credeur should be on the main too.

I'm the best ever. You're the most average in a minute.

Credeur's boxing is terrible yet so entertaining

Looking forward to this fight…if we can see it.

MMA junkie said Ellenberger vs. Saunders for UFC 111 since Kampmann pulled out.

The Seattle Times linked to my website in June 2009. I wasn't aware of this until January 2010.

In a year of great cards...

…I think this is my favorite, and I don’t even care about Kimbo Slice.

Tatum: I think he's a good man. I like him. I got nothing against him, but I'm definitely gonna make orphans of his children.

by Monte Fisto on Feb 9, 2010 7:04 PM EST reply actions

he should come out as Youppi. The crowd would love him…

by TLow on Feb 9, 2010 10:31 PM EST reply actions

it's great

how much love this match-up is getting, i’ve been thinking these guys are under-appreciated
