Sonnen completely dominated the 4-1 favorite Marquardt, outlanding him 158-46 in Total Strikes. 149 of those 158 strikes were Ground Strikes as most of the fight was fought on the ground (13:12 Ground Time). Sonnen was able to get to the ground by taking down Marquardt 5 times.
Matt Serra vs. Frank Trigg
Quick fight as Serra outlanded Trigg 15-6 in Total Strikes.
Randy Couture vs. Mark Coleman
Coleman getting out-struck 47-15 in Total Strikes. Couture was able to takedown Coleman which led to 9 Ground Strikes and eventually a Rear-Naked Choke.

Very interesting how the fightmetric report gives Nate credit for less strikes landed (37) while they gave Sonnen credit for WAY more (214). The report also gives Sonnen credit for 6 takedowns, not 5. I admittedly don’t know a lot about how either system works, but it’s interesting that there’s so much disparity.
