f'em both

I don’t like Ortiz, but I hate Koscheck.

by goldmouth on Feb 8, 2010 9:24 AM EST reply actions

he's obviously doing it to get some of the hate off him

if anyone’s a contender for the hate for tito, it’s kos.

by slantedwindows on Feb 8, 2010 9:46 AM EST up reply actions

also, complete failure for not twittering with @titoortiz

by slantedwindows on Feb 8, 2010 9:46 AM EST up reply actions

-600 Koscheck. They’d have to allow headbutts to even the fight up.

Without pain, without sacrifice, we would have nothing.

Agree!

Rec’d for truth, I totally agree! Tito is just a punk that is trying to get his fat head in the spotlight, as usual.

But he brought personal family into life.

Rec'd

for absolute truth. I’ve never wanted Chuck to beat someone so bad before.

If there is one person Coleman could still beat...

It’s probably Tito. I had faith he might be decent “100%”, but as we came to find out, that was all BS hype.

Give it up Tito.

That’s him without the huge bobble head mask on… kinda makes sense no?

Not that I condone facism or any ism for that matter. Isms are in my opinion, not good. A person shouldn't believe in an ism, he should believe in himself.

I quote John Lennon, "I don't believe in Beatles, I just believe in me". Good point there, after all he was the walrus. I could be the walrus. Wouldn't change the fact I have to bum rides off of people.

Dana,

I would pay $44.99 if the co main was Kos/Tito. Just putting that out there because I know you read these.

by Riney on Feb 8, 2010 11:11 AM EST reply actions

I think it’s pretty lame that Dana let a soft-spoken hard worker like Henderson walk and re-signed Tito Ortiz.

by nastyem on Feb 8, 2010 11:52 AM EST reply actions   1 recs

They wanted to bring Dan back, they just couldn’t come to financial terms with him. That kind of thing happens sometimes in the real world. Hell, it has happened with Tito on more than one occasion.

You weren’t there to see the dollar signs in Dana’s eyes, when Tito said his thing.

I feel sorry for anyone who wants to see Ortiz vs Coleman

I don't...

particularly care for Kos, or Tito…but Kos is right here. You know, one thing about Tito that has always rubbed me the wrong way is his ego. You know, when he was on top a decade ago…he never really impressed me. Then, he fought the elite fighters and he lost. He got an ass whippin served up by both Randy and Chuck, then he loses to Machida, ties with Rashad, and then loses his comeback match to Forrest. And boy did he look bad in that last fight. I think the worst part was hearing him cry and whine at the post fight conference about his C7 and C6, and his broken orbital bone…..whatever Tito….you aren’t the same fighter, and he never will be.

God forbid he fights Shogun, or Rampage, or Machida again for that matter. Shoot, I’d pay to see him and Kos go at it. Two annoying/cocky fighters trying to establish who’s the true annoying/cockiest fighter in the UFC!

Sometimes I just wish that Anderson Silva would go up to LHW and fight Tito….I guarantee a 1st rd KO! Easy…

So Tito should just keep his comments to himself and stop bashing so many fighters, cause by the looks of it, he’ll be heading down that same road Coleman is, especially after Saturdays loss to Randy…..“Retirement”

by JAFOrlando26 on Feb 8, 2010 12:21 PM EST reply actions

tito will get his comeuppance, first at the hands of chuck, and then, think about it, who is he gonna fight at 205 that he won’t get slaughtered by? hell i’d even pick jardine over Tito.

by kanodogg on Feb 8, 2010 12:25 PM EST via mobile up reply actions

Jardine’s wrestling is garbage.

He is one of the few guys I could see losing to Tito’s wrestling heavy style. Stephan Bonnar is another.

by Steve4192 on Feb 8, 2010 12:34 PM EST up reply actions

There are a lot of good fights for Tito at 205. This is a guy who went 0-3-1 in his last 4 fights, but against 4 guys who had either held the 205 title or were on their way there. Liddell and Machida both have amazing takedown defense and could easily beat Ortiz standing… If not for a fence grab against Evans, he wins that one (yeah without the fence grab, Evans gets the takedown and probably takes the round). Injuries against Griffin in that second fight aside, he was in a very good position coming out for the 3rd round before he gassed. If his conditioning picks up, he could very easily squeak out decisions against some of the weaker wrestlers at 205.

Jardine would be an interesting fight. I would be interested in seeing him fight Rich Franklin too.

by Stanlee on Feb 8, 2010 1:33 PM EST up reply actions

I still think jardine could keep on feet long enough to tko tito.

as for Shad, i think he could finish tito now, Evans has improved while Tito has declined. plus even if Tito takes Shad down, he’ll be ok fighting off his back since he’s a Gracie black belt

by kanodogg on Feb 8, 2010 2:45 PM EST via mobile up reply actions

Ha.

Lose

There’s a reason these guys are fighters, not English professors.

by MMAInFeRioRiTy on Feb 8, 2010 1:42 PM EST reply actions

imagine how a verbal war between Tito and Kos would go down.. neither have a true mastery of the English language.

Dear Joe Silva

MAKE THIS FIGHT.

Thanks,
