I've been thinking...
Is it good or bad for the Republican party that Chael is doing well right now. On the surface one would think good, but if he keeps his mouth open…I think we may have a Charlton Heston moment yet. He’s right on the edge of a great sexist/racist gaffe.
Can’t wait till Mr. Silva gets ahold of him and beats him silly.
They didnt really have a lot of options here
2 tko’s 2 submissions and the rest decisions. There was no way they could give Beltran the ko of the night bonus when Gracie more quit than anything and Paulo’s sub was more impressive than Randy’s.
As for FOTN I would have prefered to see it go to Guillard-Torres but not pissed about it.
If this was a response to what I said
I meant it looked right just in terms of it looks like the correct and only conclusion to come to given the event, not that there was a variety of different outcomes they had to look over to determine this.

I’m damn glad Couture didn’t get the submission of the night. I was outraged when they announced that during the show.

I thought the Sonnen Marquardt fight was worth of FOTN because everyone knew what was on the line for the win and yet they both put on a great show. Often when the fighters know the title shot is on the line they fight very safe and in my opinion this fight they both tried to finish/put on a show.
I was disappointed with the Marquardt loss but with the recent Sonnen shit-talking and the fact he’s never been KO I’m actually curious to see how he fares against Silva. The lead up to the fight should be entertaining as hell. (assuming Belfort doesn’t actually pull the upset)
he’s never been KO
Well, Sonnen said that Maia knocked his head off with hammer fist from the bottom, that’s why he got submited so easily.
He also stated that he was out for a few seconds in yesterdays fight.
