How does Yoshida even have a job anymore?

A 2-2 record ain't bad

and his losses were to some serious 170 lb contenders: Koscheck and Rumble, so it’s not like he’s he’s getting beat up by cans.

The dude got near killed by young man rumber and Kos, i think he should go back to Japan and fight dudes with no power.

You say that like “Rumber” and KOS have no power. Yoshiyuki was also controlling the hell out of Dan Hardy before getting DQ’d in the second, not sure if, “he should go back to Japan and fight dudes with no power.” is eluding to Hardy having no power, but I’m sure most would disagree…

UFC needs someone to get knocked out. Yoshida is your man.

Brain trauma research.

Keep firing Assholes!

GSP's only weakness is chubby redheads.

One more KO loss like the ones to Kos and Rumble and Yoshida should probably be sidelined indefinitely.

How does he even have cognitive functions anymore?

Get rid of the ramp!

excited about Hathaway

He’s looked extremely good in his fights on the UK cards, nice to see him get a real shot rather than just fighting on the UK undercards.

I actually like Yoshida a lot. Hope he can get it going a bit here. Keep your hands up Yoshi!

i feel bad for guymond, i think its a little too early for him to be fighting after his suicide attempt, he should get right in the head before fighting especially when his losses are from submissions and he’s gonna fight a sub guy

by jakiechan on Feb 3, 2010 7:46 PM EST reply actions

He has fought twice already since his suicide attempt, and he’s a adult, I think it’s up to him to decide if he wants to fight or not.

for a minute there I thought I made a comment that I had no recollection of making!

"For some reason Dana White doesn't like me, and I don't care enough to find out why. So he can go pound sand up his ass as far as I'm concerned."

safe to say loser of this fight may be added to the unemployment statistics.

by mmatokyo on Feb 3, 2010 10:23 PM EST reply actions

I see that unemployed person being Guymon. Stylistically, this fight favors Yoshida. Yoshida has as good if not better BJJ than Guymon, and Yoshida’s judo should give him top control against Guymon who has weak takedown defense.

by chrisbboy82 on Feb 3, 2010 11:27 PM EST up reply actions

Hopefully this ends up as a good grappling match and not a sloppy standup war where Guymon tries to ‘Rumble’ Yoshida

Update from the link is that it’s going to be on 113 instead.

Junkie is saying Forrest vs Nog is now on for 114.

he fought an anythony rumble that was HELLA overweight and tough as nails/crushed a bunch of other guys….and he lost to KOS who is also near the top ten in the UFC in his division.
