Yeah, the main event is PPV worthy.
I think Kenny/Gomi is going to be a scrap.

I'm calling it right now...
KenFlo via RNC in the 1st round. Maybe 1 or 2 more solid wins and he’ll get another shot at BJ????
Roy Nelson via TKO
North Carolina come on and raise up. This is great last card we got was the tribute for the troops. Glad UFC is finally coming back to a place it all started. I was 9 years old when my uncle took me to UFC 3. He was pissed because of all the injurys that lead to a lackluster finale but im going to this easily. Still waiting on a PPV though. Although im sure if this card does well we will get one soon enough.

I'll be coming up to see this live.
Roped my friends that don’t watch MMA into coming with me too. This is bound to make them instant fans.

This is only a few hours from me. Would it be worth it to get in the UFC Fight Club to score pre-sell tickets? Or would I still get decent seats when they go on public sale this Saturday?
in my experience I’ve gotten better seats OUTSIDE the presell fight club block. The only time I’d recommend buying the fight club pass is if you’re very worried that the event will sell out before the regular tickets go on sale.
I’ve only seen that a few times (Montreal, Australia), etc.

Details on tickets from the UG:
Fan Club Thursday
Newsletter Friday
Public Saturday
$35-$250, seem to be 4 different price levels, I am waiting for a UG Fight Club member to fill us in the price-to-seat breakdown
Recommendations on the best seating?
This will be my 1st live Large event and need to know if it’s worth it for floor seats, etc. Been to plenty of pro wrestling, hockey, basketball, and Monster Truck rallies (it’s a southern thing). But I’m pretty sure MMA will be far different.

I’ve only been once.. and my seats were 15 rows up in the 100’s (first section)… high enough you can look right into the ring and still be close enough to see. Fantastic seats.
I heard you don’t want to go for floors unless you can get within 6 rows, but this was for the Montreal Stadium… which had 21,000+ people. =)

Florian vs Gomi
This is a true UFC versus Pride matchup. It has fight of the year written all over it.
"If your going to come on then come on!" - Harold Howard
Come on, man!
Don’t do that. That encourages some sort of bullshit “winner proves what was the best promotion” nonsense. This will be THREE YEARS after PRIDE went bye-bye. Ain’t no point in keeping that junk going.

No
1st, this is years too late. 2nd, this Takanori Gomi isn’t the same Takanori Gomi from that era. I ♥ Pride FC, but the Pride FC vs. UFC label holds no weight now.

I’m pulling for Florian, but I want Gomi to return-to-form.

Love this card
If I were Dana I’d move Diaz/Markham to UFN 21 and round out the main card so you get:
Florian/Gomi
Nelson/Struve
Quarry/Rivera
Diaz/Markham.\
The Seattle Times linked to my website in June 2009. I wasn't aware of this until January 2010.
Bojangles Coliseum?
Big Country’s gonna have a hell of a time there.

Please, please, please, Gomi, show up for this fight!
You have to be the man... you have to be very, like, alpha male with her. You know? Decide what you do and everything. So, show her who's the boss, you know? - GSP
Great card. I really want to see Gomi come back to form, but Florian is no slouch and is one of the best Lightweights in the world. I will be rooting for Gomi, but I feel that Florian is going to win this. I will also pick Nelson over Struve. Struve didn’t really use his reach well in that Buentello fight except for using leg kicks. I can see Nelson taking Struve down as well and trying to use his weight to get positional control.
It's badass that Gomi is pictured on a UFC poster.
I like Kenny, but I’m praying for a Gomi win.

3-4 years too late on Gomi
But better late than never. Florian can have a great fight with any guy in the lightweight division and Gomi is still a very tough game fighter despite his setbacks. Looking forward to Struve-Nelson and Winner-Miller too.
