Brock Lesnar's Camp Responds - "Frank Mir Could Use Another Beatdown"

"Frank Mir wants murder? The beast is now even angrier than last time. It's okay, Frankie ‘The Stalker’ Mir could use another beatdown. Except this time, it will be more vicious. The Champion hopes Frank Mir makes it past Shane Carwin. Frank may never be able to fight again after the third fight is over. Expect the unexpected Mr. Submission Man, you may leave without an arm."

Lesnar’s camps add comments to a youtube video after the jump.

Not in this case, no.

This is genuine grade-A shit talk, right here. It’s more believable that these guys hate each other.

As opposed to when they have GSP try and talk down his opponent for interviews. That seems forced, and out-of-character.

From Frank and Brock, I love it.

I don’t think Carwin or Cain are going to force Lesnar to stand and strike, particularly Cain. Say what you want about how good he is, he doesn’t have the size to stop Brock’s takedown.

by TLow on Feb 25, 2010 4:13 PM EST up reply actions

.....

Get the shovel and lime out guys. Sounds to me like Frank Mir has just officially dug his own grave. The one thing that Frank keeps on forgetting is probably the most scariest aspect about Lesnar; He beat him at %60. For a 6’4 285lb behemoth like Brock, moving that fast, and being that explosive with his take downs at %60…..I can’t imagine how unstoppable Lesnar will be at a full %100. I got the perfect nick name for him…..“The Juggernaut”. No one, and I mean NO ONE, will be able to stop Brocks take downs. And as soon as Brock gets you to the ground….next comes the pound.

Same as the Old Mark Coleman. When Coleman got the double leg takedown….it was a wrap from there. Coleman might be the Father of Ground & pound (or Grand Father now) but Lesnar is going to be Prince of doom to all those who fall to his takedowns. Cain/Carwin/Mir/JDS won’t be able to stop Brock once he gets them to the ground.

As Dana said in an interview regarding Brock’s return. If he was beating guys badly at %60…..imagine what he can do at %100. The HW division needs to watch out now, cause Lesnar is coming back at full strength, full speed, and full throttle baby!

As an old wrestling fan, I can’t help imitate Rick Flair on this one….“WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO”

Why is Brock by sub over Mir such an impossible idea to people?

Mir’s defense on the ground is, at the very best, mediocre. A gogoplata from the back is unreasonable, but Lesnar getting an arm triangle or taking Mir’s back for an RNC are both very possible.

If Brock wanted to submit ANYONE, he could with ease…

Think about it, It is 10X easier to submit someone than to pound them into oblivion…
Brock could have slapped on a submission while Frank Mir was 3/4 done…

It is a whole lot easier for Brock to learn a submission than Frank Mir…

Brock has been wrestling for longer than Frank Mir was doing Crane Kicks…

Brock, as a wrestler is embarassed that some Karate Kid is trying to claim the throne from someone who has wrestled all of his life.

In the end, why would Brock want to submit someone, especially Mir, when he can smash his face in, like he did??

Think about it fLoot...

If you are inevitably going to pound someone out to a TKO stoppage, there is a point before the ref stops the fight to where you can slap on a submission of your choice..

If Brock wanted to make a point to SUBMIT MIR, he could easily…
If Mir is not lucid enough to defend a punch to the face, how could he defend a D’arce/anaconda/armlock??

Doesn’t it depend on certain factors, like, for example if the guy you’re trying to submit is a BJJ blackbelt or not?

by Dooda on Feb 25, 2010 6:49 PM EST up reply actions

Well,

…if a fighter is ALMOST TKOed/unconcious, you can easily slap a submission onto someone if it would make a point…

Brock could have choked out Mir at the end of 100, and Mir would have had to live with the fact that Brock submitted him…
It would make the borderline Mir, even more crazy…

by Jadrig on Feb 25, 2010 6:51 PM EST up reply actions

Brock rages out during Lesnar v.
