Anderson Silva talks Demian Maia - "Each of us has his main specialty:
"It is not simply jiu jitsu, it is an MMA fight, a new style which comprises various techniques and elements. It's hard to say that I would get him standing and he would get me on the ground. Of course each of us has his main specialty, but fighting is fighting. MMA is a new sport, so we are training and studying. I think we have to sit our butts in serious homework, read and review, watch what we're doing well in training and we are not. I will continue studying the rest of my life. This has worked so far. It may be that an hour is gone, but it is paying off. For me, I treat every fight as if I was studying for a [college] entrance exam," Silva said.

I fear that Maia will do a KenFlo and be completely overwhelmed by who he’s fighting and end up getting dominated.
Except that Florian, according to what he said, was told by a few of the judges that they had him ahead going into the fourth round.

No matter what happens in you fight with Anderson Silva, you will always be remembered as the guy who let us get to know Anderson Silva. I mean, if you think about it… the only reason silva hasn’t been as big of a ppv draw is because we never really got to know him. You can think he’s amazing, but so what. It’s personality that ultimately draws, it’s what spawns inspiration for people, in seeing dedication, and struggles and stuff. And i think out of a result of this whole thing with chael, now we’ll finally get to know anderson a bit better.
