1067logobig_medium

This is our new time slot from now on: Sundays 9 to 11pm EST. We avoid preemption and now we can talk about fights after they've happened. If you want to talk everything UFC 110, now's your chance.

Today on "MMA Nation" we'll be joined by veteran MMA referee Dan Miragliotta to talk his experience with Virginia's athletic commission at the Respect Is Earned (RIE) event in Harrisonburg, Virginia on January 30th.

But of course, we'll also be talking UFC 110, the incredible performance by Cain Velasquez, what's left for CroCop, the controversy of Silva vs. Bisping, the performance of a lifetime by George Sotiropoulos, the UFC's overseas ventures and much, much more.

"MMA Nation" will air tonight 9:00pm EST to 11:00pm EST on 1106.7 The Fan. To listen live over the Internet, go to The Fan's website and click "Listen Live".

I'm also on Twitter: @mmanation.

"MMA Nation" is also available by podcast on iTunes. For now, iTunes is disabled, but the show will be posted on the station's website soon afterward. I'll be sure to put a post up when they're ready to go. And when we're back on iTunes, I'll put up a link to that as well.

Number to call: 800-636-1067

Email here.

Talk to you then.

You're describing Frank Mir.

really LAME trash talk:

the rubber guard-omoplata-sweep-side mount

did look pretty effective in my opinion. And Joe who controlled Diaz even with Nate’s great jits, couldn’t do much against Sot’s guard… It may be overhyped by rogan, but I think it’s pretty effective.

I don't think it's related,

but Fedor did have a (minor?) hand injury from the sambo tourney that Aleks won.

good show luke.

I like this new time slot, cause it’s shown 10am-12pm on a monday here. So I’m awake, instead of having to wake up really early after going out the night before. haha.

Great interview with Dan Miragliotta. Credit to him for being so open and not playing politics.
