UFC 110: Nogueira vs. Velasquez - Undercard Results
Where's that accent, New Jersey? Oh, Austria, no, Australia? Well, let's put another shrimp on the barbie!
Unlike most oversea events, UFC 110 will be shown live in North America. But that doesn't mean you're free from spoiler temptation. Four prelims will be in the dark until a few hours after the show ends. And if you're like most MMA fans (read: portly and inebriated degenerates), you're gonna want to know the results. Check 'em out after the break.
This is the only acceptable arena for spoiler discussion. You've been warned.
Results after the break.
UFC 110 Prelims:
Light Heavyweight: James Te Huna def. Igor Pokrajac in the third round via TKO (strikes)
Middleweight: C.B. Dollaway def. Goran Reljic via unanimous decision (all judges scored the bout 29-28)
Welterweight: Chris Lytle def. Brian Foster in the first round via kneebar
Light Heavyweight: Krzysztof Soszynski def. Stephan Bonnar vs. in the third round via TKO (cut)*
*The ref ruled the cut to be caused by a punch, but various results from Twitter say it came from a clear headbutt.

Lol I wonder how loud it was when Te Huna won

Becuase they aren't in Australia.

Sherdog's PBP was pretty confusing
Based on the text, it seemed like Reljic was winning each round, but then they score it just as the judges did: 2 rounds for CB, 1 for Goran.
no stand and bang?

I've seen Lytle go for legs before
and after seeing how Foster wrecked Brock Larson, and knowing that wrestlers tend to be susceptible to leglocks, I’m not too surprised.
Lytle using BJJ?!??!?!??!?!!!
I thought he was a stand and bang type! I WANT MY STAND AND BANG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No awful boxing en route to a decision win for Lytle?
This feels wrong.

Sounds like he really tweaked Foster's knee:
The hold is gruesome and Foster is helped from the cage at 1:41 of the first.
Wowsers.
Good for him. Not for injuring the guy, but for showing he has other things in his arsenal.
Sounds like Lytle thru Foster off his gameplan

@deowade
He's saved because he pwned Larson and took this fight on short notice.

It wasn't really short notice
Foster was announced as Kim’s replacement on December 23rd. That’s nearly 2 months to prepare.
Good point.
Still think he has one more fight and then if he loses that he’s gone.

From Breen’s twitter:
By virtue of not only winning via kneebar, but by using his submission game at all, Chris Lytle already has outperformed everyone tonight.

Undercard thoughts…
1. Looks like Igor is gone after lossing 2 straight, look forward to seein more of Te Huna in the future.
2. Biggest win of CB’s career but it’s hard to deny that Goran didn’t suffer after a huge layoff but either way both guys will have a future at MW.
3. Love Lyttle the guy always brings it hopefully Foster is ok.
4. Sad to see Bonnar get screwed by the ref he really needed this win but considering the controversy hopefully he’ll use this as a chance to continue to get better. K-Sos I guess gets to live another day but I don’t see him doing much at LHW.
HEY
he happens to be a hell of a painter now mister!
