Current Lightweight King of Pancrase Maximo Blanco (4-2-1, 1 NC) will take on Sengoku newcomer Chang Hyun "Armbar" Kim (15-5) at SRC 12 on March 7th, the promotion announced today.
The 26-year-old Venezuelan wrestler had a busy year in 2009, amassing a 3-1-1 record -- his only loss by DQ -- and capturing his first MMA title. Blanco recently left Yoshida Dojo to train at a Pancrase-affiliated gym.

I feel safe in saying that “Armbar” is the best nickname in MMA. That is, until Dong Sik Yoon adopts “Dongbar” officially.

I’ll nominate any and all uses of “Pitbull” and “Assassin.” Also, “Darth” Bader, and the “The Fire” Burns.
“Sugar” is bad, but Kim “sugar free” couture is without a doubt the most idiotic nickname ever.
