I wanted to say when I heard about this fight that it doesn’t matter in the scheme of things because neither is UFC quality. But that’s ignoring other factors, like how much they get paid and the like. The UFC obviously finds some value in feeding Tuchscherer to the likes of TODDUFFEE (yes, with TWO D’S), being a guy that can be marketed as coming off of a win and is friends/training partners with BROCKLESNAR.

And many ringside observers scored the fight for Tuchscherrreerrreerrerrerrr.
Really, whether he actually "won" the fight or not is totally irrelevent
He was probably cut because, in all three of his performances, he didn’t show enough skill or improvement for the UFC to believe he was a viable UFC caliber heavyweight. A change in the judges scorecards wouldn’t have changed his performance, and likely wouldn’t have changed the UFC’s desire to release him. Just because we didn’t watch the fight doesn’t mean that Dana and Silva and all other decision makers didn’t watch it. They obviously saw what they needed to see to decide he wasn’t worth keeping around. I doubt they just see that he lost and decide “Ok, this guy’s gone.” I’m sure it had everything to do with in-octagon performance.

And this fight was the biggest turd of them all with a close second being the Gracie fight..
BUT watching it live I didn’t think the fight was controversial at all.. No way he won the fight, maybe and a big MAYBE it was a draw. Hague clearly lost the first two rounds if not tying one of them and he won the third. Either way it was a snoozer and they both should be cut..
It wouldnt hurt for Tuchscherer to get on a treadmill either that dude is fat.

Tell that to Chris Leben, Clay Guida, Nate Diaz, Gabe Gonzaga, etc. There really is no secret formula behind the UFC’s firings…it’s a case-by-case basis.

Not that I condone facism or any ism for that matter. Isms are in my opinion, not good. A person shouldn't believe in an ism, he should believe in himself.
