This card = UFC made prospects vs fading Pride legends

And what does it say about me as a fan that I’m taking the Pride legends. That I’m skeptical I guess. It just seems like Cain’s strategy of trying to grind out and wear down Nog is the worst possible strategy. Nog is probably the most resilient fighter ever. I just see Nog subbing the hell out of him.

I wouldn’t say skeptical. The old Pride guys were the best of the best, I think there are some compelling reasons to say they still are (with the exception of Crocop). Wandy is on the wrong side of some very close decisions, but I feel like fighters are looking to out jab him and look for a decision win. Nog was super sick and the Nog I saw against Randy was a serious fighter looking like he used to back in Pride. Obv Fedor is just Fedor and robots don’t age.

PRIDE TRIFECTA

I am very happy to see Nogueira, Wanderlei and Filipovic in one night.

Wait. They call Cain “The Terminator” because as Dana says, he won’t stop until he finishes you?

Cain’s a hell of a fighter, but I don’t really think that’s the right nickname for him…

Especially when his nickname is already very clearly “Pillow Hands”.

I wonder how many more excuses people are going to make when the so called Pride guys get beat again. Honestly for once i’d just like for people to admit that their guy got his ass beat fair and square and leave out the bs but that is too much to ask apparently.
