Here's the poster for FEG's New Year's Eve show, Dynamite!! "The Power of Courage" 2010 as captured by Nightmare of Battle.
Aside from the obvious participants seen on the poster, here are a few of the rumored bouts so far:
- Bibiano Fernandes vs. Hiroyuki Takaya
- Marius Zaromskis vs. Kazushi Sakuraba
- Josh Thomson vs. Tatsuya Kawajiri
- Gegard Mousasi vs. TBA [Rumored to be against Sumo wrestler, Shinichi Suzukawa]

I seriously doubt he is fighting on NYE. If he decided to fight, he’d only have a three week turnaround after potentially fighting three times in one night. This is probably another marketing scheme to spark interest in the event.

he'll probably fight an over-matched can like all of his other fights in Japan
aside from Cro-Cop.

True, but at this point it amounts to the same thing essentially. At least it does if you were to put him up against somebody like Overeem.

I see Wicky in the lineup at the bottom of the poster, anyone else able to identify any of the bottom row fighters?
the bottom row is more or less there opponents
i can see thompsons face, they dont get much coverage compared to the guys at top

I think its a good matchup
It is competive and yet winnable for both fighters. And it would be cool if Saku could retire champ, and then they could hold another WW tourney, if they dont go out of business.

but Sakuraba hasn't won a fight in over a year.. yet hes getting a title shot?
or is this a non-title bout? either way, i dont see how they match up these two guys for any reasonable sort of match up. its just dumb.

when Sakuraba's dementia pugilistica sets in
from the ridiculous amount of head trauma he’s sustained, I don’t even think we’ll be able to tell because he’s such a weird guy. That said, I hate this matchup, and want him to stop getting in the ring before he dies in there.
He’s more likely to retire from higher brain function than to retire a champ from fighting at this point, and it’s honestly starting to seem a bit cruel they keep booking him.
