Awful poster
It’s basically the 121 poster with the 120 coloring.

I don't care how pretty the poster is.
I care about who is fighting!!! This card is awesome.
You are right though.

We’ll all have to wait for Anton to dazzle us with his poster-take of UFC 126.

All of the best posters involve GSP.
94, 100, 111, and 124.

You mean Silva's height? No it's not the Four loco talking.
Just gotta match heights.
They made a video game about Yakuzas. It’s called Yakuza. And it’s about Yakuza
No joke, I thought he was Chael for a second. They seem to have squashed his face a bit.

Yup same here. Been seeing a lot of Chael lately

Belfort dethrones the Champ?

Nah. I can see the future. Silva via decision. Both fighters are exhausted at the end. Silva actually scored 3 takedowns, he attempted 7. He used a lot of leg kicks. Note, Silva scored his first takedown after Belfort cracked him really good with a clean shot in the 2nd round.
The 1st round goes exactly how most of Silva’s 1st rounds go. The 4th rounds didn’t feature any action, just clinching. Silva nearly pulled off a submission but the final bell sounded. No split decision but I think Belfort won the 2nd round. I’m not sure about that.

Well, I saw what happened in the stand up against Sonnen. And I’m not sure if Silva was just playing with him, but he wasn’t dominating him like everyone expected. I wouldn’t be surprised if Belfort gets a few through and then just opens up on him ala Franklin ala Wanderlei ala Lindland etc, etc..

- Franklin – I’m not sure but it looked awfully like a rabbit punch.
- Wanderlei – That was years ago and let’s just cough that up to inexperience. Silva’s a different fighter but so if Belfort. He’s still faster.
- Lindland - YOu really used him as an example? Did you not see what David Terrell and Robbie Lawlor recently did to the Olympic Silver medalist greco-roman wrestler?
I’ll give Sonnen credit. He can take a shot, a knee, a kick, whatever. He’s tough. With that said, so can the middle weight champion. Silva’s days are surely numbered but when you keep winning like he is, it eventually becomes habit. I don’t know if he knows how to lose. OK, I’m obviously a fan.

I’m not really arguing the actual fighters he’s knocked out. Their ranking, how it exactly happened, the type of style they brought to fight Belfort. I’m more just saying he saw an opening, and just assaulted his opponent. Very few fighters can take that bull rush. I’m just very curious to see how Silva handles it.

I wonder if Silva and Machida have been figured out....
Most of Silva and Machida’s victims have been either guys with bad standup, or sloppy brawlers that come forward swinging and get lit up by counterstrikes.
Shogun and Rampage both covered up tight as they came in and didn’t fire until they were in range. Sonnen did the same thing, he covered up and rushed Andy. It’s hard to counterstrike when the guy is up in your face.
I’m not saying they have been figured out, but in the last couple fights it seems to be working.
Yep, getting mine on Thursday, Fight Club FTW

Amazing card
Can’t wait.
Tatum: I think he's a good man. I like him. I got nothing against him, but I'm definitely gonna make orphans of his children.
I wish Stout v. Kelly were on the main card. That fight will be great.
I’m glad to see a bantamweight fight on the main card, as well.

Man are the UFC's posters bland...

Belfort better get busy. He only has 2 months and 3 weeks to get injured and pull-out.
Did you see the size of that chicken?

I've said this before
Silva’s never faced a striker like Belfort. Obviously it goes the other way around too. Honestly, by the time the main event rolls through, I’m going to be hoarse from shouting. So many good fights.
"Burritos are my life." - BJ Penn
Fingers crossed
I dont know what to expect. Coming off that Rich Franklin TKO was the perfect time for belfort to face Anderson. Sucks that he was injured, now he has been on the shelf for like a year and a half or something.
I want to see this fight, but I also think Belfort needs a tune up fight to knock dust off. I kinda see him as the tinman frozen in place and whimpering “Oil Can!”. Thats how long it feels like it has been since he has fought.
