Greg Jackson Defends Coaching Record, Previews Georges St. Pierre vs. Josh Koscheck for UFC 124 on The Fight Fix
Host Dustin Green of Comcast SportsNet in Washington, DC, was able to catch up with MMA coach and trainer Greg Jackson to get his response to Dana White's comments about his coaching style and his fighters' efforts. Jackson responds by noting he and White have a positive relationship and that he didn't take the criticism personally, but that the facts clearly prove White to be wrong. Jackson also looks ahead to this weekend's UFC 124 welterweight title fight between Josh Koscheck and Georges St. Pierre. Jackson argues GSP is going to be a "better version" of the fighter we already know him to be.
Then yours truly stops by to follow up on Greg Jackson's comments, figure out whether or not St. Pierre will be affected by Dana White's comments and who I believe will win in the main event of UFC 124: Josh Koscheck vs. Georges St. Pierre.
You can also see The Fight Fix at CSNWashington.com.

I find it funny that Greg Jackson has to “defend” his success. What do you say to defend winning and championship fighters?

I dunno.
Despite losing to Mike Brown in 2009 and Gamburyan, Garcia has had several fight of the night honors and had a “crazy” fight against Jung earlier this year that NO ONE would say was boring or poorly coached.
Jackson’s tactics (hate ’em or love ’em) are more positive than negative.

yeah, but
Garcia clearly lost the Jung fight — to everyone except the judges. He’s got a history of gift decisions. Somebody ought to apologize, dammit.

Don't do it!
Every time you trim your beard a pro wrestler gets his tights. Although I can’t comment on the specificity of that.
It's official. Les Miles DOES NOT have a deal with the devil. He beat him Nov. 6th, 24-21.
Looks to me like you trimmed your beard with a great level of granular specificity.
Good for you.

I am genuinely being nice. I have been visiting this site daily since I got into MMA a few years ago and I think it’s great you’re on TV now.
Also, I agree with your assessment of the GSP/Kos fight because I am also of the belief that even if Kos gets GSP down he’s not going to be able to keep him there and Kos will have to resort to his stand up which IMO is very sloppy.
I rec' out of mocking admiration, if that helps
Great job on TV. It’s great to have local MMA talk on Radio AND TV now. Keep spreading the gospel!

Jackson apologizing
for his coaching and winning would be like Miletich (sp?) apologizing for the same thing.
Excellent commentary, Luke. Summed it up clearly and concisely.

Wow, Luke...
you presented yourself much better than the last time I saw you on this show (I think it was this show…).
Last time it was like they started filming you after you’d downed an 8-ball of cocaine followed by a 6 pack of Red Bull for a chaser.
RRrrrrrRRRED-ah-BOOOOOooooOOLLLL!!!
Great work!

"In this fight, Anderson showed he was human," Nogueira said. "He showed he could be weak. But he showed he is a fighter and he brings something from his heart. It was beautiful."
