Cane should beat Vemola and his worthless striking technique
Simpson/Miranda might be a very good fight.
UFN 24 = Most stacked Fight Night ever?
Accustomed to mediocrity.
Vemola’s probably able to rag-doll Cane around and beat him up, leading to a TKO.

Definitely think Cane goes
If he loses. His head movement is non-existent.
Accustomed to mediocrity.
Vemola Vs Cane has FOTN written all over it.
How has Cane improved since his ass whooping. Is Vemola for real or can he take a crack to the chin?
Mmmmmm
Vemola came across as sloppy to me, and I can’t imagine that his style is made for more than one round. If Vemola fights like he did against Petruzelli, while exciting, I can imagine him gassing pretty bad by round two. Cane has terrible standup defense though, but I am going with him to get the win.
Simpson vs Miranda is very interesting. I am curious to see how Simpson handles the height difference. Simpson does have a tendency to abandon his offensive wrestling and strike with his opponents, and that could be a big mistake against Miranda. This one is actually pretty tough for me to call.
I won't jump off the bandwagon just because you lost.
Even though he got smothered by a much bigger Jon Madsen in his UFC debut, Vemola never really seemed to tire in that fight. He just got lay ‘n prayed by a much bigger experienced wrestler. If he has the cardio to go 15 minutes the way he fought in the Petruzelli fight, he’s definitely got a bright future. Also, he needs to have worked on not getting himself in a position where he can be submitted. Petruzelli almost caught him with an armbar and a triangle, I believe. A better BJJ guy could have subbed Vemola in that fight.

If Vemola could keep up that pace for the whole fight, then he would be a beast for sure. I don’t think that the Madsen fight (or smothering) is a good barometer for Vemola’s gas tank in that it isn’t Vemola committing the offense and him just getting neutralized (not really getting struck or anything). I think that Vemola vs Cane is a good fight to see where both of these Light Heavyweights are at though.
I won't jump off the bandwagon just because you lost.

Because he has a winning record, he's entertaining,
and the last loss to Munoz was at least competitive.

![Strikeforce star, Cung Le, tells Fight Hype he wants to fight in the UFC, and more specifically, on the UFC 139 card in his hometown of San Jose, perhaps against Chris Leben:
PC: What's your current situation as far as your Strikeforce/Showtime deal? Could the UFC sign you to fight right now?
CL: I definitely have a different contract than the other fighters. Right now, it's all up to the UFC. There may be some roadblocks with the Showtime deal and the Showtime side of things, but we will see what happens.
PC: When would you like something to be ironed out and possibly fight again?
CL: Ever since I heard that Cain [Velasquez] was going to be fighting in San Jose. I would love to be on the same card
PC: At one point, there was a poll done and a lot of people wanted to see Cung Le vs. Anderson Silva. Not only is there Anderson now, but a lot of guys have emerged in the 185-pound division as contenders, such as Brian Stann, Mark Munoz, Chris Leben and Chael Sonnen. Would you be interested in any of those names? Are those the type of fights you're looking to make?
CL: You know, on Yahoo! Sports, there is a Cung Le vs. Leben thread if there was a cross promotion. Like I said, if the fans think it is an exciting fight for them to watch, I'm all for it.
UPDATE: Chris Leben is now confirmed to be fighting Mark Munoz at UFC 138, so it looks like Cung Le will have to find another opponent.](http://cdn1.sbnation.com/fan_shot_images/205493/CungLe_crop_340x234_small.jpg)

![Always honest, Forrest Griffin tells Sherdog he's anticipating a difficult weight cut and conditioning issues for his upcoming fight in Rio against Mauricio "Shogun" Rua:
"I definitely put on more weight than I would like," Griffin told Sherdog.com. "I need to cut weight and it won’t be easy. I’ll have a lot of problems until the fight in Brazil, but I’ve gotta do it. I don’t want to fight at heavyweight, so I gotta cut that f--king weight."
"He’s one of the best fighters ever," Griffin said of his opponent, who he submitted in September 2007. "He has a blitz style. He goes forward. He’s dangerous. I gotta make him move backward and let’s see what happens. I want to go hard for all 15 minutes of the fight."
"It’s difficult to adjust yourself [to another country]," said Griffin. "There’s the jetlag thing, and it’s difficult to make weight since Brazil doesn’t have the distilled water I use in the U.S. and the food I need to eat. It’s always difficult to change your routine when you go to another country. I feel stupid because I can’t communicate with people from the hotels and can’t even say how I want my eggs. It’s clearly a pain in the ass."
