I’m not sold yet on the new McKee after just one finish (via cut) and 15 minutes of lay and pray could really kill an exciting card like this, so it makes a lot of sense. If he finished Volkmann, he’ll get a shot on the televised prelims next time.

McKee has finished
both of his recent fights, not just one. And the cut on Azevedo wasn’t “just” a cut in the sense that many cut stoppages are anti-climactic after an accidental headbutt or glove scratch…he was brutalizing Azevedo with elbows.
