Recently my partner in crime was able to have a sit down with UFC 125 competitor Phil Baroni, who will meet up with The Ultimate Fighter 11 combatant Brad Tavares on New Years Day. 'The New York Badass' has always been unbderfire due to his questionable cardio he has in his bouts, and his work ethic when it comes to training. Now training with AKA for his upcoming bout, Baroni really seems to be absorbing some skills from the camp that could benefit him heading into next Saturdays (Jan 1st) fight. Here's what Phil had to say when asked:
MMBB: That’s probably been the biggest issue you’ve had is the gas tank previously, you don’t see that being an issue this time around?
Baroni: Whatever man, I didn’t have a problem in Pride with my gas tank, and those were 10 minute rounds. I’m sick of hearing about it, I’m sick of being asked about it, you’ll just have to wait and see. I hope he’s counting on it, I’m not worried about it, I’m sick of the fucking question to be honest with you!
We here at MondayMorningBlackBelt aren't going to be the ones to tell him he's wrong. Perhaps you would? Or do you tend to believe Baroni this time around as he may not be able to afford another loss. Let's hear it blackbelts.
Thanks for your time guys
